"So let me get this straight," Angela said after I finished explaining to her and the Forks pack about Tiema's visit a couple of hours ago.

It's currently three in the morning and I've managed to collect the whole pack and have an emergency meeting at the abandoned fishing dock where a number of murders were said to have occurred. Of course no murder occurred here, it's just a rumor that the pack reinforced in order to get a hideout, and really what's a better hideout than a pseudo abandoned dock in the outskirts of an overly superstitious yet gullible town?

Andrew is on his way with his mates and I really hated interrupting them but it's an emergency.

"This Francesca chick's pack, the needle marks on your arm, the two wolves you and the hunters caught and the person in your room that night are all connected," Angela summarized the whole of Tiema's warning with a lot less dramatics and complicated words. Seriously, I didn't even need a dictionary!

I nodded at her, or rather at her and Ben as she was huddled on his lap, more for his benefit than hers.

Tiema's warning was of a storm coming. She also said the storm will brew because of a black rose, an ancient beast, a rotten rose and a mad scientist.

"How?" Chase asked, his vocabulary at this hour extremely limited as he sat on a work bench a few feet from the twins who were huddled on a docked boat. Joseph and Ben were leaning against the posts that the boats were tied to.

I was seated on an old motor engine situated smack in the middle of everyone. All eyes on me!

"Here's how," I started as I adjusted myself into sitting cross legged, "The black rose is the symbol of the Batè clan and has been used for decades if not centuries, hence it means Francesca and Scarlet. Traitors of the clan are called rotten roses because even though they may betray the clan, the Batè blood runs through their veins. Meaning that it's Ezra, the only traitor of the clan in the last three decades. A mad scientist refers to someone with ambition and obsession towards something and I suspect the scientist and Ezra are working together,"

"Wait, isn't that just jumping to conclusions?" Joesph piped up from his seat

"Not really," I replied, "I appear, for all the world, completely human, so why would a scientist take my blood without guidance? The scientist needed someone to point them to me for them to know that I'm a delta. It can only be Ezra because by the time he was marked a traitor and disappeared, the most information he knew about me is my name and face, so he wouldn't know that delta blood can only be taken with consent."

Seeing them all nod in agreement at my conclusion they all were quiet as they digested this information and I left them for a second.

"So the person who watched you sleep was the ancient beast in the warning," Ben finally spoke up after a while of silence.

I couldn't help but coo at him like a proud mama wolf and say to Angela, "Beauty and Brains! What a true catch my dearest Angel."

That caused everyone to laugh while Ben flushed and pouted, Angel quickly appeased him with a kiss and a hug. He totally melted!!

After everyone settled down for a bit I answered him, "You're right on the money Benny-poo, the ancient beast has to be the person watching me sleep. I thought it may have been Charlie but after analyzing the situation at length it's impossible. There's no scent or any impression that anyone entered my room. Ancient beasts usually stalk their preys before hunting them so it's the most logical explanation. Unfortunately that's all I have about them,"

I sighed deeply and scrubbed a hand across my face as I thought of this situation. The timing couldn't have been more terrible. The last thing I want to do is leave Forks without knowing all details and I hate that I'll roll into Beacon Hills with a new danger on my heels. I contemplated traps and spells while everyone was lost in their thoughts, or asleep in the twins' case if their snores were anything to go by.

There was movement at the entrance and then silence as everyone took a deep breath (except Ben) and smelled three familiar scents.

A minute later three figures emerged.

At six two and towering over his two mates it's no wonder that Noah Hawkins is the first one to be noticed amongst them. He was all legs and lean muscles, barely visible under the black t-shirt he wore with his jeans. Pale skin, midnight black hair and the darkest blue eyes I have ever seen made up his profile. His full lips were pulled up in a half smirk as he enjoyed the attention of everyone taking him in. He wore arrogance like a crown that was made for him, somehow elegant and all grace.

Next to him and in the middle of the trio stood Lillian Garret, the shortest of the three at five nine. She was looking at Noah in exasperation with her hazel eyes but they still shone with fondness and love. She was curvy in a way that was all due to her mother's Spanish ancestry and not her father's French one. Long light brown hair was pulled up in a high ponytail that dangled against the back of her blue long-sleeved top that she coupled with black tights.

If Noah was the moon then Lillian was the stars and Andrew...

Blond, green eyed Andrew, who only shares the green eyes with his sister, who is six foot even and muscled from weightlifting that make his sun-kissed skin a beautiful contrast to his mates. Andrew was the Sun, and those two gazed at him as if they want nothing but to have all of his attention and brightness focused on them.

Noah, Lillian and Andrew were not the only polyamorous mates that I know but they're the ones that always make me take a minute to silently appreciate their dynamic.

I looked around me and even though everyone here but Ben has seen them before multiple times, each and every one of them had starstruck faces.

The sun, the stars and the moon indeed.

And the reason why Andrew's father cannot know about them.
