Chapter 11: Family

Buti pa multo nagpaparamdam.

Darren's PoV

Reminiscing that moment makes me mad. It was supposed a happy exchange of 'good nights' but that happened. I don't know how did I get there that fast but all I am thinking that time was she.

Is she okay? What happened to her? Why is she screaming, I know she's in pain but why? Those kinds of questions are repeatedly revolving inside my head.

I drove as fast as I could, wala na akong pake if mabangga man ako or what, basta makapunta lang ako ng mabilis sa kanila.

I did not end the phone call, I can hear her screams, I don't know kung bakit sa lakas ng hiyaw nya ay walang makarinig sa kanya.

Where is her mother? Her father? Their maids? Fuck!

As soon as I reach their mansion I immediately enter with no guards stopping me, they all let me pass. I went straight to her room.

And there I saw her screaming and rolling in her bed while holding her head tightly. I can't just stand there and watch her like that so I hugged her and she leaned her head in my shoulder and then she lost her consciousness.

Ang sakit para sa akin na makita yung mahal ko na nasasaktan, pero mas masakit yung wala akong magawa para maibsan yung sakit.

Nakasalubong ko pa si Tita(mama nya) that time pababa ng hagdan. Nanlaki ang mga mata nya uppon seeing me carrying her unconscious daughter.

"What happened to her?" she nervously asked.

"I don't know tita, but I heard her screaming in pain habang nag-uusap kami gamit ang cellphones namin kanina." she nodded her head and said "Okay! Let's bring her to our hospital! Come on."

Bukod sa mga nangyari na 'yun. I was surprised how Tita had driven us to the hospital. Kung mabilis na ang pagpapatakbo ko papunta sa kanila, mas mabilis pa dun ang ginawa niya. Kulang na lang ay paliparin niya na ang kotse ko. She is a beast in driving.

Nakita kong sabay lumabas ng room ni K, sina Tita at yung doctor. I immediately asked Tita what happened to K since sya yung nakausap nung doctor.

"Tita is she okay?"

"Yes, hijo. She is fine and it was just a migraine sabi ni Kuya Fred." she told me a good news but her eyes was full of sadness and sorrow. Grabe namang migraine iyon, but I will just ignore that knowing na okay na ang aking prinsesa.

"Pwede po ba akong pumasok sa loob?" I respectfully asked.

"Yes of course. Ikaw muna ang tumingin sa kanya, bibili lang ako ng makakain natin. And thank you very much hijo." sabi nito at umalis na, ako naman ay pumasok na sa loob.

Nakita kong kumukurap-kurap na ang kanyang mga mata, isang senyales na malapit na syang magising.

I hold her left hand and sit beside her hospital bed. She then slowly open her beautiful eyes, that is very captivating.

"Hi K! I'm glad you're now awake." I said with a very sweet and sincere smile.

"Hi......? Who are you?" she asked that made my heart beats faster.

"It's me D, nakalimutan mo na ba ako?"

"Aah! Sorry D, medyo nahilo lang, kaya siguro medyo hindi kita nakilala." she said and closed her eyes tightly and then flashed a sweet smile afterwards.

Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko, I know everytime I see her, everytime she's close to me dumadagundong itong puso ko sa lakas ng pintig but this time this is differrent. It is a different kind of dagundong that made me worried. I don't know I think I'm just being paranoid.
