The next day was training day. Julie and Becky slept in since they had been out with Carli and Hope. This time, Julie was the one to wake up first. She really didn't want to check her phone, scared that Christen would be flirting with her again. Despite that, she turned on her phone, and found a text from Christen.

"Oh my fucking god, will she ever stop?" Julie said aloud, apparently too loud that she woke Becky.

Becky sat up, rubbed her eyes, and said,"What's going on?"

"What do you think?" Julie asked sarcastically.

"Oh my god," Becky said, taking the phone out of Julie's hand.

Becky read the text out loud.

"Hey cutie, we should hang sometime. Carina's going away to see her family, so we won't be bothered."

Julie looked at her nervously, wondering what her girlfriend was going to do next.

"Okay, I know you told me not to get involved, but this is going way too far. I'm calling her right now."

"Baby, don't— uh, please," Julie protested, to no avail.

Becky dialled Christen's number on Julie's phone, and put the phone to her ear.

Christen: Hey, beautiful
Becky: Yeah this is not 'beautiful.' This is her girlfriend. Now listen. Don't think that Julie doesn't show me these texts you send her, or tell me about you flirting with her. This needs to stop. You have a girlfriend. Leave Julie alone.

Without bothering to answer, Christen hung up the phone.

"Baby, don't you think that was a little harsh?" Julie asked, putting her hand on Becky's shoulder.

"Not when one of our fucking teammates who I thought I could trust is a) trying to steal my girlfriend, and b) cheating on her own," Becky replied, getting up," now come downstairs with me, I don't want to be lonely."

Julie got up, ran to catch up with Becky, and wrapped her arms around her from behind.

"What do you feel like having for breakfast?" Julie asked.

"Revenge," Becky answered.
