Kokuma Jutsu X reader
You had a lot going for you honestly, you weren't going to lie. You were smart, pretty, fun to be around and a general great person. Most people would call you self centered for thinking highly of yourself but you knew they were just jealous. Jealous that you could get any guy in the school that you wanted, they all wanted you and honestly it was no surprise. The only problem was that you didn't want any boys, you wanted girls. Most people at your school weren't comfortable with that subject, being children sheltered from everything that isn't what your parents want you to see. Things that were outside of the social normal were subjects that no one talked about publicly, and so you played along with the hetero bullshit for as long as you could, well more accurately you just didn't correct people when they assumed that your grades were more important than dating to you. All the social normal things started breaking apart when your friend for a long time, Kokuma, came to school with her hair cut short like a boy's. Everyone was whispering about her, saying mean words that are used to describe lesbians. You had been listen to people talk for a few minutes before you got mad enough to tell them to go fuck themselves. Everyone stopped talking when you spoke up. At the school everyone valued your opinion and wanted to impress you and be on your good side. You hated all of this situation and though most people saw it as a gift, it was a curse to you. You never had any real friends who can really relate to you, most people, like the ones who just switched opinions, just try to make sure that you aren't annoyed by them or anything like that.
At lunch you didn't go to sit with your normal group like you would have on any other day. Today you decided to go and find Kokuma and make sure no one is harassing her. She needed a friend more than you needed people to give you empty compliments and praise. When you finally found Kokuma she was sitting alone on the roof of the school, looking down at the courtyard where practically everyone else was gathered. You sat down next to her and she looked up at you surprised. You just smiled at her politely and spoke, saying 'You're barely touched your food."
She looked down at her lunch, which was completely untouched by her. She sighed and looked back over at the people in the courtyard. You were guessing the sigh was supposed to be a response of some sort to your question. You sat in silence with her for a bit longer, actually enjoying not being around people who constantly scream, yell, and generally are loud and annoying. It was peaceful being on the rooftop, there was the fact that it was quiet and also the cool breeze that would pass by the people on the roof top, sending small chills down their spines.
"Why are you hanging out with me?" She asked quietly after putting her food down on the floor. You felt bad that she didn't feel worthy of hanging out with you and thought that you had some ulterior motive for wanting to spend time alone with her. You shrugged, giving her a small weak smile as you did so. She looked at you critically then looked back away again. She looked like she was thinking about something important, deciding if she should say what's on her mind or not.
"It's true..." She said after a few more moment of silence, not looking at you. You looked at her with a puzzled facial expression and she finally turned over to you, seeing that you didn't know what she was talking about she continued on with her statement. "What they say about me. It's true. I'm gay, but my haircut shouldn't define who I am and it shouldn't matter if I am or not why can't people just accept who others are and not be extremely bigoted and small minded. And I just... I'm sorry I'm rambling. But there I said it, you can go tell the whole school now."
You sat there looking at her baffled for a second or two before you could see tears start to well up in her eyes. You immediately hugged her to try to calm her down and get her to feel safe. You had your arms wrapped around her and were petting her hair. You hushed her and rocked her back and forth. She calmed down quicker than you thought she would and you pulled away smiling at her. You spoke softly "You know, I'm gay, too, and I'm here for you. No one's going to be small minded with you as long as I'm around, okay?"
She stared at you dumbfounded for a second. You thought you had said something wrong and got up to walk away from her and from your confession. It was the first time you had told someone about who you really are and it felt great to say it, though her reaction made you regret all of it. You felt your heart being broken into a million pieces and you hated the feeling that was new to you. Before you could actually get far enough away, Kokuma grabbed your hand and pulled you back towards her. You felt her hands hold you close to her as her lips were roughly smashed on to your's. Your hands immediately went and rested on her hips, returning the passion. Years of untreated emotions were bubbling up and you started to cry a bit into the kiss and you know she did too. That kiss was the best thing to happen in your life so far and you swore you would protect her for the rest of it and make sure no one would hurt her ever again. You needed to protect her from those who didn't like when people broke the social norms.
