The salty ocean breeze swept through your locks of hair as you sailed across the sea lightning speed. One particular thought briefly crossed your mind, remembering the images of Noctis. He seemed so angered and conflicted of his own decisions, almost regretting tying you up to the leg of a chair. Your conscience could never accept the fact of the handsome guy to be so cruel and ruthless. He was kind, humorous, sarcastic, and a bit sassy sometimes, but it enticed you even more to aid him. His brash actions were only based off of his goal in reclaiming his kingdom for the sake of his father and those he cared much about.

Time Skip
You leap off the interior of the boat, sprinting across the muddy plain with haste. You placed your fingers between the corner of your lips before blowing a loud whistle to beckon your trusty creature. A loud kweh echoed through the air, spotting a familiar yellow dot scurrying in your direction. A soft dust cloud appeared by its sharp talons as it skidded to a stop. You jumped onto its rear, gripping the brownish reins tightly between your hands.

"Long time no see, girl. Come on, we have a kingdom and a king to save." You say softly.

It stretches its wings squawking in response. You yelped as it suddenly sprung forward quickly towards the closest road. It drifted across the gravelly road as it trotted its way in the direction of Insomnia. Determination ignited your hues.

Prompto's P.O.V.
The deafening silence was choking me inside. The whole car ride was completely quiet, except the bellows of nearby creatures and the occasional sputter of the engine. I wanted to break the silence so badly, yet I couldn't, unnatural for my personality. Speaking so jokingly after learning of the crown city falling and seeing Noct bind f-n without second glance.

I was terrified and left trembling in my shoes. So much anger was swirling in their hues, both of them. Noctis also seemed like a different person, dragging her by the wrists, tying her to a chair. She was only thinking what was best for us, but Noctis couldn't risk being abandoned again, leaving his duties to someone else. I only hoped that f-n wasn't obedient and escaped the bindings.

I took a brief glance behind me, watching Noctis slowly doze off with his arms crossed over his chest. Where are you? We will need your help in the coming battles...

Third Person P.O.V.
You and your chocobo laid unseen behind a group of bushes and trees obscured from the road perspective. An airship sailed loudly over your heads, parking directly over the nearby road. The Niflheim emblem waved on the banner held by the flag bearer of the Nifs, ten to twenty of them standing silently in the middle of the road. Their heads were lowered as if they were deactivated. 'What the hell are they waiting for?' You thought, your questioned soon answered as a mantra of warnings were sworn across the field.

"Noctis! Stop!" You heard few people simultaneously scream out. You also see Ignis, Gladio, and Prompto chasing after him, yelling out warnings in a desperate attempt of stopping the rampage of the prince. A few Magiteks jump from the airship, landing in front of the three of them. It was a trap, cutting off Noctis from the rest of the group. Your eyes shimmer white as your body vanished into crystals, quickly materializing next to Noctis.

"f-n? What the hell are you doing here?" Noctis questions, facing you.

"Just saving the future king." You say mockingly, dodging a Magitek's attack and slashing it in the head.

"I thought I said that you shouldn't follow me." He says, his eyes never leaving yours as he materializes a gun in his hand firing multiple bullets into a soldier blindly, shooting it dead on in the chest.

"You're not the king yet so you have no authority to speak in that tone with me." You respond smugly, shooting a Magitek with its arm drawn back behind the prince.
