Is anyone else excited?
Does anyone else care?
I can't wait,
While everyone else could fall asleep and never wake.
I jump with joy as the days go by
No I cant wait to step foot
Step foot in the place many deem a living Hell.
I can't wait for my first A of the year.
I can't wait for my first friend of the year.
Though I'm a bit shy,
And sidestep conversations,
I surely wouldn't die,
At one or two confrontations.
Of course I'd be busy,
Of course.
But I could still make time
With dear friends of mine.
Laughing, joking
Smiling, running
Jumping.
If only that could happen.
If only that could be real.

Is it sad I still get excited for school?? Like.. I go back here in like three weeks. And I cant wait. Then again, this year brings a lot of oppurtunities with it. Not only am I going to be extra involved this year, I'm in my school show choir and my schools graphic design trade school program. Not to mention all the free trips I'll be getting to local colleges and tips I'll be given on scholarships... ah... this is the year I've been waiting all my life for.. I just wish my Mom were here to see it.
