You walked into your bedroom slowly due to stepping backwards as you thanked Hoodie for helping you. The male nodded in response before walking away.
You smiled as you watched the hooded boy leave. "Why is your shirt all wet?" A voice asked from behind you. You turned to see Jack sitting on the bed, holding a book in his hand. You raised a brow, "You can see my shirt?"
He nodded, "In a way." Standing up, he placed the book into it's place on the shelf. You watched as he walked up to you, taking the pillowcase out of your hands, "I'm er.. I'm sorry about that." He said awkwardly as he put it on the pillow.
You smiled, "It's fine, really!" He looked at you, "So.. What took you so long? I didn't think washing a single pillowcase would take nearly two hours." He questioned, sitting on the bed once again. You walked up to him, sitting next to the masked man.
"Heh, a lot of stuff happened.."
Jack raised a brow, "Did Jeff happen by any chance?" You chucked, "Yeah." The male nodded, "You should be careful of him, he's a little.." Jack trailed off. You nodded, "Yeah, I could tell. Anyway, are you going out to hunt?" You asked, changing the subject.
Jack nodded, "Yes but not until around three." He stated. You looked at the clock hanging by the door. 9:30. You looked back at Jack, "Be careful out there, alright?" You said in a light tone. Jack nodded, "I was planning on it."
Standing up again, you walked to your closet, pulling out a T-shirt and some sweat pants. Thanks to Slender you had a few outfits you could wear here, even if they didn't fit fully.
You held the items in your hands, "I'm gonna go change clothes." You informed Jack. He shook his head, "In that case you can change in here if you want. I can go into the hall and wait." He suggested, standing up. You shook your head, "It's fine. Anyway, I need to clean up a bit before I go to bed."
Jack nodded before you made your way to the bathroom, closing and locking the door behind you. You took off your clothes, wetting a washcloth before placing it on your skin.
You felt your body regain the correct temperature as the cloth glided over your soft skin. A frown made it's way to your features as you looked into the mirror. The liquid that went onto your back from the walls of the basement was out of your reach.
You looked down in thought. Maybe you could get someone to help you? Even if you took a shower there wasn't a 100% chance it would come off. Glancing at the shower your eyes widened when your E/C orbs seen the inside of the tub. Red-brown stains lined the inside of the bath. Though the coloring was light, you could spot it easily.
Taking a deep breath, you looked away from the tub. Blood stains.. Great. You muttered to yourself before grabbing your pants and throwing them back on. You held your shirt to your chest before putting a hand on the door.
You quickly opened the door before sprinting to your room. Stepping into the area, Jack looked up before clearing his throat, "Wh.. What are you doing..?" He questioned in a confused manner. You sighed, "I have a favor.."
Jack pushed his mask up a bit, revealing his mouth, "Woah woah woah, I barely know you-"
"NOT LIKE THAT!" You frowned at the brunette. He chuckled, "What then?" You could feel the red flowing to your cheeks as you looked away, "Well.. Er.. I was wondering if you would help me wash my back.." You stared at the ground as your temperature rose once again.
Jack frowned, "Why don't you take a bath or get in the shower?" He questioned, standing up from the bed. You looked up at him, "I.. Don't.. Blood.." You squeaked. Jack laughed, "Ah, I get it. Alright." He walked over to you, taking the rag from your hand as you turned around.
"What is this from?" He asked as he looked over your back. "Basement walls.. And Jeff. You can ask him if you want." You said plainly. Jack nodded before putting the wet rag onto your back, earning a little squeak from you. For some reason it began to burn a bit, almost like putting hand sanitizer on a cut on accident.
He began to rub in small circles softly, trying to not hurt you. You looked down, "Thanks for this." He smiled, "No problem." Glancing back at him, you watched as the black liquid continued slowly dripping from his eyes onto his mask, "I apologize for making you do it. You were the closest person and the shirt was too wet to put back on."
"It's fine. I mean, we're roommates so we have to get used to one another." He chuckled, "It was hard getting used to Greg when we became roommates. You shouldn't be that difficult to handle." His circles slowed a bit, "Did Greg bring Gabby back to your dorm a lot?"
Jack was silent for a moment, "Er.. Sometimes.." He looked up at your face, "It was more of him leaving all of the time and coming back to show me pictures on his phone, bragging." You rolled your eyes before reconnecting them with the black areas of Jack's mask, "He was such a pervert.."
He glanced down at your back once again, "I think I got it all off." He placed a hand on your skin in attempt to feel for any stray residue. Shivers went through your back as he did so, causing him to laugh, "Sorry if that was creepy! Just trying to help." He handed you the cloth.
"Thanks again!" You smiled awkwardly at him, earning a simple nod. Walking back to the bathroom, you closed the door once again before changing into your night wear. You sighed, grabbing your new toothbrush and got ready for bed.
When you walked back into your room, Jack was once again reading a book. You glanced at the cover, "Why are you reading about dissection?" You questioned. Jack placed a finger on where he was before looking up at you, "I'm really new to how my life is right now so I'm trying to figure out how to properly remove an organ."
You sat next to him, glancing at the pages. "It shouldn't be too hard. I had to do that to a frog at school." You stated, pointing to the small diagram in the corner, "Just use a scalpel and make a quick, clean cut on the connections." He glanced at you as you stared down at the book, "And if you're trying to keep them alive, simply stitch everything up."
He smiled, "Why are you telling me this so calmly? You know I am doing this to humans." His voice had a confused tone to it."Well.. You helped me so why not help you?" You smiled sweetly at him. "As long as the ones you work on survive, I don't mind."
Jack stared at you for a second before smiling, a new goal in mind.
"Then I'll try my best."
