You walked out of your room, looking over to see Ben and Jeff strolling down the hall. "Where's Eyeless?" Jeff questioned. You pointed to the bathroom door, "He got that liquid tar stuff on his cheeks while sleeping."

Jeff nodded before looking over to you, "So. Why are you here again..?" He asked with a raised brow. You sighed, "I have to live here now. You can ask Ben, I don't want to get into it.." You looked away as Ben began explaining it to smile boy.

What was taking Jack so long? He did look pained when he woke.. Perhaps his eyes hurt? You wondered these things to yourself as Ben's voice faded from your radar. You frowned as you began to see the image of Jack's sleeping figure in your mind. You had to admit, he did looked kind of cute.

"What are you doing..?"

You snapped out of your thoughts as a hand touched your shoulder. You jumped a bit, turning to see that it was Jack. "Oh, sorry. We should get going!" You smiled before turning to Jeff and Ben, "Come on, I'm starving!"

The four of you made your way to the dinning area, sitting down at the table. You sat between Slender and Ben. Going clockwise, the table went Slender, Hoodie, Masky, Sally, Jack, Jeff, Ben, and you.

"Welcome to the family Jack. You and Y/N will fit in perfectly." Slender said, his faceless features resembling a smile. Jack nodded, pushing his mask over his mouth a bit, "I sure hope so."

Sally smiled at the man, "You can be like our new brother!" She said cheerfully, using her fork to point at the male. Masky leaned over, putting his hand on the girl's arm in attempt to make her stop pointing the relatively sharp utensil at Jack.

Looking down at your plate, you again did not recognize the kind of meat on the dish. "I made dinner specifically for Jack's arrival. I think you'll enjoy it thoroughly." Slender said proudly.

Jack looked down at his plate, "Oh. Well, thank you." He said before everyone began digging in. You cut a piece off, sticking the square in your mouth before chewing. It tasted odd. This time you had no idea whether it was good it bad.

After dinner you stood from the table along with everyone else, picking up your empty plate and taking it to the kitchen sink. Slender thanked you as he took the plate from your hand, already scrubbing the food residue from the glass.

You looked over, seeing as Jeff and Ben spoke to one another. They seemed to be close. Perhaps like best friends?

Walking over, you stopped when you got to the two boys, "You guys gonna stay up?" Jeff chuckled, "As if. I go out each night, I'm not about to quit my job." He turned away from you. "Job?"

"I put people to sleep. Nobody truly sleeps until they've had a visit from Jeff." The black haired boy smiled at you, his eyes having a certain shine to them. You frowned as he walked off, leaving you and Ben in the hall.

You turned to the Hyrulian, "Well then. Should I keep an eye out for him..?" You questioned nervously. Ben shrugged, "Maybe. He might not like you due to the whole mortal in our house thing." Glancing down the hall, you watched as Jeff's silhouette disappeared into his bedroom.

Shivers ran down your spine. He must be one of the more unstable people here. You thought to yourself as you began making your way to your room. Ben waved to you before heading to his own.

You sat down on your bed, realizing how tired you really were. Your emotions have been getting the better of you. Finding out that Slender was the one who left you on the steps as a baby, realizing you now live with psychos, and your odd connection with Jack were all too much for your mind to handle.

You sighed as you stood up again, realizing you had forgotten to ask Slender for a new pillowcase after Jack's black tears spilled on it. Walking out of your room after digging in the hamper, you began walking to Slender's. You leaned over, looking into his room before knocking on the already opened door.

Slender looked up from his book, "Y/N, what is it?" He asked, closing the book with his hand between the pages to hold his place. "Are there any clean pillow cases? Mine got dirty." You asked, watching as he stood up, walking to his desk and placing a bookmark in the book before setting it on the black wooden surface.

"Here, I'll show you where the laundry room is." He walked past you. Following the man, you paused as he brought you to a flight of stairs going downward. He looked back at you, "I apologize if you find it to be a bit scary down here, we only really use the washer and dryer down here."

You nodded before continuing, transcending down the steps. The room was pitch black except for a single window. You heard a click before the room lit up, revealing Slender holding the thin line which triggered the light.

You looked around. The basement was unfinished and old. The floor was hard cement that was covered in a layer of dust and dirt. The walls were similar, the only difference being the slight moistness glistening off of the concrete.

You looked over, watching as Slender walked to the washing and drying machine in the corner. He opened the washer, putting his hand out. You placed the pillow case in his hand, watching his fingers curl up as he gripped it.

"Whenever something's dirty or your hamper is full, feel free to bring the things in here. We wash our own items after moving in." He stated, tossing the case into the washer before shutting the lid. You nodded, "Sounds fair enough."

Slender turned the washer on before looking back at you, "It has a habit of turning off halfway through so stay here to make sure it cleans thoroughly." He took a few steps, passing you, "I'm going to get some sleep. I suggest you do the same after."

Nodding, you watched as the man made his way back up stairs, leaving the light on for you. You sighed, "In a dark, dirty basement all alone in a house full of murderers.. Just dandy." You muttered sarcastically before turning back to the washer.

You took your phone out of your pocket. Dammit, why did Slender have to have Ben disconnect basically everything? You get that they don't want you giving away their secret but still, it feels miserable.

You looked back up towards the window, gasping when you seen the familiar pale white face of Jeff. The boy chuckled as you stumbled back in surprise, "You sure are an odd one." He raised a brow, smiling. You gulped, "I-I get that a lot."

Jeff suddenly changed, frowning at you as he held up the knife in his hand, pointing the tip at you, "You're lucky I don't slit your fucking throat right here and now." He growled, pressing it to your skin. "Hey, please don't. We can.. be friends..? " You laughed nervously as you felt a cold sweat coming on.

"As if I would ever even consider befriending a mortal." He pressed the blade harder against your skin, causing you to wince. "Listen, Jeff, I don't mean to bother you! I didn't have a choice-"

"Yes you did." Jeff growled, putting his forearm against your chest before backing you up against the wall. You shivered as you felt your shirt becoming cold and wet from whatever was dripping down the walls earlier.

"Masky explained to me what happened! You totally could have just run away! You could have just snuck away without anybody noticing!" He dug the tip of the knife into the wall, right next to your head. "You could have chosen the other answer when Slender invited you to live here." He said, leaning closer to you.

Your faces were mere inches apart, causing you to start getting even more nervous. You whimpered as you looked away from him, "I can't explain it, okay?!" You choked out, "I just.. I feel welcome here."

"Well you aren't." Jeff glared at you before slowly pushing the knife down a bit, leaving a shallow line in the wall. You glanced up, looking at how his icy blue eyes dug into you, "What are you going to do?" You questioned, causing the male to chuckle.

"Nothing."

He leaned over your shoulder, his mouth right by your ear.

"At least not yet."
