You sat on your bed as Jack looked around the room, "Only one bed..?" He questioned. Jeff chuckled, "Keep your hands to yourselves at night, alright kids?" He joked, causing you and Jack to yell at him for thinking that way.
Ben frowned, "No electronics.." He turned to you, "You at least have a phone, right?" You nodded, "I don't really get a good connection here though.
Jack yawned, "I feel like taking a nap," He stretched, "Y/N, would you mind letting me sleep on the bed right now? I'll only be a few hours." You smiled, "No, it's alright. You can sleep there overnight as well if you want, I can do the couch or floor." The brunette shook his head, "No, you sleep here tonight. I'm gonna be out during those hours anyway."
Jeff raised a brow at you two, "Are you really arguing about who sleeps where?" Ben laughed, "Just share the bed if needed! If you two really aren't as Jeff said earlier, it would be fine to do that." You cleared your throat, "That's a bit awkward but I guess I'm alright with that."
Jack sat down next to you on the bed, laying back so his legs were dangling off the end, "Ah.. My spine is pleased." He joked before yawning again. Ben looked at you, "Want to play videogames with Jeff and I while Jack sleeps?" He asked. You nodded as Jeff shook his head, "I'm tired too. I think I'll take a nap in my room as well."
The boy walked to the doorway, looking back at you two, "Wake me up for dinner." He said before waving you two off, walking out of sight. You and Ben turned to each other before you looked back at Jack, whom was just barely awake.
"Jack, why don't you get comfy. If you aren't up by dinner, we can wake you to eat." You said, standing from the bed. The masked boy nodded, sitting up, "Sounds good." He said sleepily, his voice a bit more rough from tiredness.
You and Ben walked out, heading to the stairs, "So much in only a few days.." Ben muttered. You nodded, "An odd coincidence, don't you think?" You asked as you two hopped up the steps. Ben shrugged, "Let's just hope that the house doesn't get overcrowded."
You stepped into his room, plopping down on his bed, "I feel numb.." You said, your voice muffled by the blanket. "What makes you say that?" Your friend asked, grabbing his controller. You lifted your head, "My body just feels really heavy.."
"Too heavy to lift up a controller and battle me in Mortal Kombat?" Ben questioned, causing you to sit up, grabbing the other controller that lay on the floor, "Never."
You two battled a few times before you grew angered by your long list of defeats. Tossing the controller to the ground, you laid back on his bed. He laughed, "You're a sore loser."
Flipping off the boy, you turned around, back to him, "I don't want to play games anymore." You mumbled, curling up slightly. Ben turned his console off, "What do you want to do then?" He stood up, bending his legs a few times to keep them from cramping up.
You shrugged, "I have no idea. I just feel really blah right now." You said before sitting up, giving Ben room to sit in front of you. He scooted back, kicking his legs a little as he looked up at the ceiling, "We could go for a walk in the woods." He suggested. You shook your head, "Nah, I don't want to do anything too active. I feel quite lazy right now."
"We could watch a movie."
"Could we watch anime?!" You smiled after asking. Ben nodded, "You're into anime as well?" He questioned. You nodded, "Yep! You could choose what we watch if you have any in mind."
Ben thought for a moment before nodding, "Sword Art Online?" He questioned. You laughed, "Of course that's what you pick. Alright, I'll watch it."
Ben went onto the internet on his television, pulling up some episodes, "Alright, here we go." He pressed play, causing the video picture to go full screen.
You and Ben sat there for about two hours watching nonstop anime. You began to grow hungry, hearing your own stomach growling. You paused the episode, "Is dinner ready yet?"
Ben stood up, stretching a bit, "I can ask if it is." He yawned before walking out of the room, leaving you sitting on his bed. You laid back again, feeling each bone in your spine crack nicely into place.
"It's ready."
You squeaked, sitting up to see Ben's upper body coming out from the screen of the TV. You facepalmed, "Don't do that, holy crap.." You said, your other hand on your chest. Ben chuckled, "Come on!" He hopped out of the television, grabbing your wrist before taking off down the stairs.
You ran after, "Wait! We have to wake the guys!" You dug your heels into the ground, halting you and the Hyrulian. Ben nodded, "Ah, yeah, I forgot they were here."
He let go of your wrist, "I'll get Jeff, you get Jack." Ben said, taking a few steps away from you. "Alright." You nodded, turning and heading to your room.
You opened the door, looking in to see that Jack still lay asleep on the bed. As you walked up to the boy, you noticed that he had set his mask on the nightstand. You leaned over him a little, trying to get a look at his face out of curiosity. Part of you felt bad, feeling like you were disrespecting him, which you may actually be doing.
You took a deep breath to calm your anxiety before looking down at him. His skin with a shade of grey, making his brown hair stand out a bit. His eyes were closed, though you could see a slight discoloration on his lids, most likely having to do with the thick black liquid that ran down his cheeks and onto the pillow.
His features stood out, but not in a bad way. His facial shape and structure were beautiful in your eyes. You took another feel breath as you realized that it felt like the room was heating up a little, perhaps Slender turned the heat on?
You took a step back before tapping Jack's arm, causing him to shift in his sleep. "Jack?" You questioned, earning a tired grunt from the male before he slowly sat up, a hand covering his face.
He winced, covering his eyes, "Hey, uh.. Where is a bathroom?" He asked, tracing his fingers across the tar-like liquid. He suddenly shot up, grabbing his mask and covering his face. You stepped back as he stood, "The bathroom is right next to this room in the hallway." You replied, earning a nod from the boy before he excused himself, heading to the other room.
You turned back to the bed, noticing that quite a lot of the black liquid had spilled onto the pillow. Grabbing the case to the pillow, you pulled it off before tossing it into the hamper next to your desk.
"He's kinda odd." You mumbled to yourself, hearing the sink running in the other room, "Who in this house isn't?"
