Y/N's P.O.V
"Enjoy your stay miss/sir, we are very glad to have you." The man working the counter chimed, as he handed me my room key.
I quickly made my way to my room, rain pouring down on me. As soon as I saw golden numbers on the run downed door, 323, I opened it in relief and pulled myself into the room. I immediately placed my, now very soaked jacket onto the cheap table next to the front door.
After sitting down my one and only bag, I walked around and looked at the room. It looked like crap.... but hey! You get what you paid for.
To my right, I saw the tv remote and decided to see if the tv had actually worked. And after a few tries with pressing the sticky buttons, it finally turned on. A few channels were nothing but static, and unrealistic pornos. Luckily, I managed to find the news.
"And that's what Monday is looking like, cloudy and rainy just like the rest of this week, anyway, back to you Brad." The weatherman said as the camera switched to a man, that's name is Brad I am assuming.
"Yes, thank you for that. Now on to the more recent news. NYPD is still looking for the man who has caused a lot of trouble this week. Nine murders, all with the same message on the wall. "D-"" He was saying but was cut off with static.
I sighed and turned off the tv, seeing that there wasn't any point in trying anymore. I probably wasn't going to be able to watch good tv in a while. Instead, I pulled out my phone, and just like my luck, there was no signal.
"Great," I said under my breath.
After about another 10 minutes of boredom, I started to walk around again. Looking at things a lot closer than I did before.
I noticed that there was a small hole in the wall, curiously, I peeked through it. Through the hole appeared the exact same room as mine, but instead of there being a runaway, there's shoveled sheets, scattered clothes, and two nake-
"Oh my!" I pulled back in a huff, nearly almost tripping over my bag on the floor.
Disgusted, I turned away and continued my little adventure with hesitancy. There were many things that I found like there was a tear in the curtains, the trash was never taken out, and a spider that lived in the corner of the room, that I named Frank.
My stomach rumbled and grumbled as I looked out the window. I remembered seeing a vending machine in the lobby, or the shed they called a "lobby". That was the closest food I had so I made my mind up and started to make my way to it.
The cold rain quickly hit me in the face as I opened the door. I scurried down the pathway, trying to get to the vending machine as fast I can, but before I passed the door next to mine, I thought I heard a very quick scream. I stopped for a moment to listen, but I heard nothing.
"It was just the wind," I told myself as I continued down the concrete walkway.
As I got closer to the front door, a guy came out and brushed past me. "Excuse me miss/sir." He said as he walked away.
"No problem," I replied under my breathe as I finally made my way to the vending machine inside the "lobby".
"Three dollars just for an old Twix bar?!" I nearly shouted.
"What a flipping rip off...." I thought as I bought a two dollar bag of knock-off Cheetos.
"HELP!" The front desk worker burst through the door, causing me to jump in shock.
He ran to his desk and immediately picked up his phone dialing three certain numbers.
"Hello? Yes, police? There's been murder in room 322..."
