Chapter one: Aloha!

Shai's POV

You can't choose who you fall in love with, you just fall in love. That's the beauty of it, you can't choose who it's with and you can't tell how fast you fall in love.

Now when I say that I don't mean you can't love somebody. You can, but when it comes to true love, you can't choose.

It's a special thing to fall in love. The feeling of it, the way that person makes you feel is incredible, and when your away from that person for long periods of time you start to physically hurt.

Today's the day I finally stop hurting. I get to fly to Atlanta to film the second movie in the Divergent series, Insurgent. It will be different to be away from Nahko, and from being in Honolulu for the past 4 months, it will be different.

I'm super excited to see all of my costars again. Miles, Ansel, Zoe, Maggie, but I'm the most excited to see the one and only Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptiklis.

God have I missed my best friend. The smell of him, his British humor, his smile, his chocolate brown eyes, but most of all I've really missed being around him.

I'm hoping that this time away from him was long enough, ever since the start of divergent filming I started to grow feelings, feelings you shouldn't have for a costar, especially one that has a long term girlfriend.

This time away from Theo I've been focusing on the fact that he's taken, that we are just friends. I've also gotten really close with Nakho, he's not the best boyfriend in the world but he is another one of my best friends.

Lets just hope that when I see Theo again I don't feel those feelings again.

The feelings of falling in love.

I yawn and stretch out my sore muscles. I've been on this plane for over 9 hours, flying from Honolulu to Atlanta to film Insurgent.

It's been about 4 months since the end of the divergent premieres, so I haven't seen any of my best friends. I've been spending my time with Nahko in Hawaii. He has a big beach house that him and his band stays in together.

People have been bugging us non-stop, asking us if we are dating, which in fact we are. It happened shortly after the end of divergent. Nahko has been a very good friend of mine for a long time. It wasn't until Nahko confessed that he had feelings for me other then as just a friend. He had asked me out when he surprised me in Chicago the day after filming was over. Don't get me wrong I love Nahko, but I also love someone else......

Theo James.

"Everybody please buckle your seats we are preparing for landing." The flight attendant gets on the intercom.

Finally, I think to myself. I feel like I've been on this flight forever.

I buckle my seatbelt and start getting my carry on ready. All I brought was a small backpack with some water from the mountains.

I love that water, it might be a pain to get but it's worth it. It's so much more natural and I think it tastes quite heavenly. I also have a ziplock bag filled with grilled asparagus.

I hate how airports only have fast food. I believe that if you want to feel good and be heathy, you have to eat good, put good and healthy food in your system. That's another reason why I like the mountain water better.

I look out the window and see a beautiful sunset. Its so peaceful watching the sunset, or just being out in nature.

"Ladies and gentlemen we have landed in Atlanta, thank you for flying southwest." This time instead of the flight attendant announcing its the pilot himself.

I grab my backpack and wait until its my turn to exit. I have on dark sunglasses and a big, black Bennie, hopefully nobody recognizes me in the airport.

As I set off the plane I decide to turn the iPhone I have back on. I got it about a week ago in the mail from Rob, he said that I needed to have a phone if he needed to contact me during filming. I would much rather have a flip phone then one of these fancy iPhones. I try to stay away from stuff like that. I would rather just get out and go to people, talking to them in person rather then text.

As my phone turns back on I get a text from Theo.

I can't wait to see you love. And please don't eat dinner after the plane I have a little surprise for you. -Theo

Love? Omg he called me love.

Thats the first time he's ever called me love. I start to feel my cheeks warm at the text. I can't believe he called me love.

Over the past few months I've had little contact with Theo, yes I would message him over my computer but it was only every 2 or 3 weeks. I knew he had gone back to England to visit his family and his long term girlfriend, Ruth.

I missed talking to Theo but I really didn't want to come between him and Ruth. I would hate for them to break up because of me. Especially because she's made him happy for the past 7 years! And plus Theo doesn't think of me that way, he only sees me as a best friend, he even said once that I'm a little sister who he has to protect. Lets just say that stung a little.

I look down at my phone and see the time. It's already 8:00! I'm starving but Theo told me that I shouldn't eat that he has a surprise for me.

I sigh, waiting to grab my bags so I can get out of this airport. It's really busy around this time surprisingly. As I spot my bags I sigh with relief, finally I get to go to the hotel.

"Aloha! I'm Shailene Woodley with the Insurgent cast. I'm here to check in." I try and sound as joyful as I can, considering I'm super jet lagged and super tired.

"Ah yes, here's your card key. Your room 46 on the 10th floor." His name tag reads 'Aaron'.

"Thank you Aaron." I say as he passes me the card key.

I don't have much to carry to the elevators because I usually pack light. I mostly live out of a suitcase anyway. I don't need much, just clothes and bathroom supplies.

I step into the elevator and hit the 10 button. As I ride up the elevator I close my eyes and think about finally seeing Theo. His chocolate brown eyes, his warm vanilla sent mixed with pure testosterone, his sexy accent. A ding brings me back to reality.

I walk down the hallway a ways before coming to a stop at room 46. I put my backpack down while I fish out the card key. Swiping the card key and grabbing my bag I finally step inside to a wonderful surprise.
