Chapter seven: Dont loose her

Theo's POV

"So you don't want to tell me that your engaged to Ruth?" The words are like a bullet to my heart, how did she even find out?

"I-" I'm speechless.

"So it's true." She whispers sadly looking down.

"Shai I-" She won't even look at me.

"I can't believe I thought that maybe we had a chance." Wait, what?

"Shai what are you talking about?" I question her. She stands up and out of my embrace.

"You said you loved me Theo! Did you really not think that maybe I have feelings for you too!?" Her hazel eyes filled with anger.

"Did you really not think that this whole time we have been costars I haven't been falling in love with you!? Huh Theo!?" She starts pacing the room while I'm trying to understand her words.

"But Shai your with Nahko, you can't have feelings for me." I stand up and walk over to her, holding her small, soft hands in my big, rough ones.

"I broke up with Nahko you asshole!" She did what? She rips her hands out of mine.

"You did what?" I'm starting to grow red with anger.

"I broke up with Nahko." She softly states looking down at her hands.

"Shai I can't believe you would break up with him over me!" I start yelling, nobody deserves that, to be broken up with because if another guy.

"It wasn't just about you Theo." She looks up at me, tears forming in those beautiful hazel eyes of hers.

"Shai...." My tone softens, I walk over to where she stands a few steps away and I hold her tight in my arms.

"Theo stop." I feel hurt when she wiggles out of my arms. "You can't keep doing things like that, like hugging me tightly, or holding my hands when I need comfort. You can't do it anymore, I shouldn't be the one you care for, it should be Ruth, your future wife." There's a sadness to her tone when she says wife.

"Theo I think you need to leave." She looks up at me, tears running down her soft cheeks.

"No, I'm not leaving until you tell me where you've been." I need to make sure she's been ok.

"I've been in Hawaii seeing Nahko, and I've been in my room." More tears fall down her cheeks.

"Shai, I'm sorry." I whisper sitting back down on the couch, I let my head fall into my hands, trying to hide the tears away from Shai. I can't let her see me cry. I feel soft, warm arms wrap around my body.

"Theo, look at me." Shai whispers in my ear, her soft voice sounds like silk in my ears. I look up at her, letting the tears run down my cheeks. She gasps.

"Theo what's wrong?" She grabs my chin with her soft, delicate fingers.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you Shai, I just, I-I can't loose you." I choke on my own words.

"Theo, you could never loose me, you mean to much to me." I look down at her lips, her soft pink lips. I start aching to kiss them. Oh how badly have I wanted to kiss Shai again. We had only kissed a few times for the movie, but this wouldn't be tris and four, this would be Theo and Shai.

"Theo I-" I'm soon to cut her off, pressing my lips against hers softly. She tastes like sweet honey, so addicting. I slowly work my lips with hers, breathing in her scent, pressing her body as close as I can get to her. She opens her lips so I can slip my tongue in, she starts to get out if breath and when I move down to kiss her neck she pulls back.

"Theo, you can't do that." Her eyes wide, mouth slightly open.

"And why can't I?" I breath deep raspy breaths. I haven't kissed someone that good in a long time.

"Because you have Ruth, and I won't be the girl you cheat on her with." She moves away from me, hurt us evident in her eyes.

"Shai plea-" I start to move back over to her but only to have a hand put against my chest roughly.

"Theo leave, now." There's a certain tone to her voice that screams 'you should listen to me' So that's exactly what I do. I get up and leave the room.

When I open my apartment door I close it with my back ad gently slide down to the floor.
