Clockwork's POV

I floated around my main chamber. I stopped in front of my viewing screen and tried to observe the timeline that concerned me the most right now.

Danny's.

I viewed what had occurred hours ago. Danny had told his sister his secret of being the Prince of the Ghost Zone which I was glad about. I liked his sister, she was very trustworthy and cared for Danny greatly. I viewed a dinner with the other halfa Vlad Masters. The end of the dinner did not go so well as Vlad revealed to Danny that he knew his secret as well. I viewed the present, Danny was heading towards my tower.

I started to move into his future but the closest I got was him entering my tower and calling out for me before the screen went dark. I was growing more and more concerned. It did not seem like Danny was going to 'become a full ghost' anytime soon so that left the only other possibility.

Another ancient ghost other than myself and Fright Knight was interfering with Danny's future and blocking my abilities.

"Clockwork!" a voice shouted. Danny had arrived. I teleported to the main room and was instantly greeted by the young halfa's terrified face.

"You already know why I'm here so I don't have to explain it. But I do need advice. What am I going to do?! Vlad knows and he's already told Skulker and who knows who Skulker has told and I can't get in touch with Fright Knight and-"

He rambled on and on. He was panicking which was not good. I hadn't had a chance to train him in controlling the Ring of Rage's power yet and in his current state he was on the verge of losing what control he subconsciously had on it.

I floated over to him as I shifted into my elderly form and gently placed a hand on his shoulder. He stopped his rant and I was able to speak, "Danny, I know you are a little worried right now but I assure you this was all meant to be. Word would have gotten out eventually."

"Yeah I guess, but my birthday is now 3 days away meaning my coronation is 8 days away. Plenty of time for my enemies to team up and try to kill me," Danny said.

I sighed, "Danny, believe me when I say you will be fine. I know for a fact Fright Knight is fine and he has been informed of the situation. He will be with you at every moment to ensure your safety." Danny did not look to pleased with that news but he did seem slightly more relaxed.

"Since you are still a bit, 'frazzled', why don't we do some training," I suggested. After a moment, Danny slowly nodded. I offered an encouraging smile, "Good, now transform into your Prince attire."

The young halfa looked confused but did as he was told. Once he was done I noticed that the Ring of Rage pulsing with light. "Danny? Do you feel alright?" I asked.

"Yeah, at least I think so. I think it's because of the ring though, I feel these 'power surges' every now and then." he replied.

I stroked my chin in thought as I shifted to my young adult form, "Your ghost core is not used to a huge increase in power so soon. It's trying to slowly release the energy throughout your entire body causing these 'surges' as you call them. We will start with that."

I pointed at the ring, "Close your eyes and focus on your center, meaning your ghost core, and slowly draw the energy from the ring into your core."

Danny inhaled deeply and slowly exhaled as he closed his eyes. I continued, "Once you feel the energy build up until there is only a minimal source left in the ring, let it out just like Frostbite taught you when using your ice powers. But do try to keep better control, I quite like this tower."

He let out a small laugh and I grinned. His forehead creased in concentration and I began to worry it was too much to soon. But it turned out I had nothing to be concerned about, as I felt a small wave of energy flow out of Danny.

"Excellent, now how do you feel?" I asked.

Danny opened his eyes and glanced at the ring, "Better, I feel more... balanced."

I nodded, "That is good, now you must remember that feeling. Hold on to it. The Ring of Rage is tied to your emotions and if you loose control of your emotions..." I let the sentence hang in the air.

"I understand," Danny said.

I shifted into my toddler form as I floated towards Danny, "I want you to continue to practice this skill until it is as easy as your transformations."

Danny nodded in understanding as he transformed back into his normal phantom form and turned to leave. I turned to float up to my chamber.

"Time Master!" a voice cried. I turned to see a messenger ghost push past Danny as he entered my tower.

"What is the meaning of this?" I demanded.

"Apologies great Time Master, but your presence is required at Phantom's Keep, as well as the Prince himself," the messenger explained, "Is there any way to contact him quickly?"

"Actually he is already here," I said pointing behind the ghost.

The messenger turned around and I could have sworn he turned two shades whiter. The ghost instantly bowed to Danny speaking many apologies which Danny kindly accepted as he reassured the ghost that no harm was done.

"So what is the emergency?" I asked.

"All will be explained at the castle, now we must hurry," the messenger said as he began to exit the tower. Danny and I shared a look and followed the messenger ghost out of the tower.
