Danny's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes. I vaguely remembered the castle from my fight with Pariah Dark and his skeleton army but now it looked completely different.

The once blood red castle now had my black and white colour scheme. The stones that made up the castle were a smooth black and the roofs of the castle were tiled white. Black flags flew off the top of the towers with my white DP symbol on them.

Before the castle entrance had looked like screaming mouth but now it just looked like a normal entrance. There were two large white pillars on either side of the giant white door and on the door was my trademark DP symbol in black.

"I hope the castle is to your liking," Clockwork said. My mouth opened and closed, trying to form words but I just couldn't process what I was looking at.

Clockwork waved his staff in front of my face, "Danny? Is there something wrong?"

I rubbed my eyes and faced Clockwork, "This.... is mine?"

Clockwork raised an eyebrow as he turned back to his middle aged self, "Was that not clear by the black and white colours, as well as your symbol almost everywhere?" I laughed, "It was clear, just wanted to make sure that there wasn't any other ghost copying my style."

Clockwork nodded, "So would you like to just float out here all day or would you like to see the rest of your castle?" I grinned and nodded so hard that it felt like my head would fly off.

"Then let's get moving, we're already almost late," he said as he began flying to the main entrance of the.... my castle.

Doing another loop-de-loop I flew after him, eager to see inside my new castle.

Inside the castle

The interior of the castle was even more amazing than the outside.

Once Clockwork and I had entered through the 30 ft door of Phantom's Keep, I was instantly amazed how much it had changed since my battle with the former Ghost King.

Truth be told, I hadn't seen much of it since I had been more focused on the battle and the only other time I had been here was when I 'borrowed' the Fright Knight's sword and that time I had been focused on not dying.

Either way, it looked amazing. The entry hall was huge, the ceiling had to be at least 50 ft up and the main floor about 20 ft from side to side. Suits of armor holding swords in a resting position lined the long hall and countless banners hung from the walls.

All the banners held my DP symbol in a variety of colours and styles. The walls and floors themselves were a dark grey, almost black in colour, and there was a long green and black carpet that led from the start of the hall all the way to a black door with silver markings on it at the other side.

"Wow," I whispered. Clockwork's hand lightly gripped my shoulder then he proceeded to float towards the door on the other end of the entrance hall. I quickly followed, trying to take in as much of my surrounding as I could.

Before I knew it, I face planted into the other door and landed on my behind. I shook my head and my eyes fell upon Clockwork. The elder spirit had a hand over his face and was shaking his head. I laughed nervously as I stood up and brushed myself off.

"Sorry," I said, "Guess it's just a lot to take in all at once."

Clockwork removed the hand from his face and patted my shoulder, "It's understandable, but please try not to do that with the Observants."

"I'll try," I replied. With that Clockwork opened the door just as my ghost sense went off and I was surprised to see at least 30 ghosts in the room that the door led to. Most were dressed in some sort of maid, cook, or other servant type style of clothing.
