Chapter 65

( ^ω^ ) I'm so happy with these chapters I'm doing now, I feel as if I'm finally writing some good chapters. Especially since the whole engagement thing, I think writing will be a bit more fun.

*Time Skip*

After a day of meeting people and talking until my throat was going to fall off, we all went out to dinner.
This was the first time I'd ever met any of Dan's friends, while I did know of them. Non of them had ever come over.
I sat awkwardly alone in the corner on my phone, while Dan and Phil talked to PJ and Chris. Suddenly a bleach blonde woman walked my way, it was Louise.
"So you must be (y/n)." Louise said with a small smile, awkwardly. I stood up, locking my phone and putting it in my jacket pocket.
"Yes." I nodded,  Louise's gaze drifted to my hand.
"Oh my god! He actually did it!" She shouted in surprise, the room feel silent. Louise held my hand tightly as Dan walked over. "Well I never thought that Dan would ever do such a thing, you must be something for Dan to pop the question on you."
"What's the wifi password?" Dan asked awkwardly, I began to laugh. Louise gasped in surprise.
"Bloody hell Dan don't scare me like that! You know how I feel about surprises!" She said hitting his shoulder hard, Dan pretended to be hurt and hugged me from behind. "And how come I'm just now meeting your girlfriend."
"Because you decided not to come over and visit." Dan replied resting his chin on the top of my head. I had a sudden need to say "Oohh need some ice for that burn" but I kept silent and listened to Louise and Dan talk.
"Wait hold still I need to take a picture of this!" Louise said taking out her phone excitedly, then with a flash the picture was over. "You two are so cute!" She said happily.
"Thanks." I mumbled seeming tense, I was tired to tell you the truth. My throat was sore from talking all day and not to mention all the walking I had to do.
"So when exactly are we going to be seated?" Louise asked twirling bleach blonde her hair with her finger.
"I have no idea, I thought we'd be seated immediately but it's a bit fuller than I had thought." Dan replied, loosening this hold on me just as Phil, Pj, and Chris came over to join the conversation.
"Hello again Dan." Pj said in a professional toned voice. "Hello Louise it's so good to see you." He gave Louise a side hug.
"It's nice to see you too Pj. Hey there Chris."
"Hey Louise." Chris said with a small smile waving.
"And who is this, I believe we haven't met." Pj said looking at me.
"Oh sorry I'm (y/n)." I felt Dan tense up behind me as I shook Pj's hand.
"And how do you two know each other?"
"Well we were neighbors, then we sort of started dating...and" Dan paused with a smile.
"And?" Pj said impatiently.
"And well." Dan sighed smiling. Pj looked confused, as Dan held my left hand. The diamond catching the light just enough to sparkle.
"Well I never." Pj said smiling slightly. "Your the first in the group to get engaged!"
"Wow I never thought Dan to be the engagement type." Chris said bluntly. I laughed and listened as a typhoon of questions were directed at Dan and I.
"Who come you never told us about the relationship?" Louise asked.
"We announced it to the Internet at 2 months, mainly because we'd been caught in public kissing and thought it'd be fair to announce it now then to deny it." Dan replied seeming calm, it felt as if he had prepared himself for this moment.
"Well then I missed that completely." Louise said with a goofy look.
"So are you two living together?" Chris said.
"Y-yes." I stammered my voice raspy.
"(Y/n) moved in with Phil and I around 2 months...at least I think all I know is that she's been living with me long enough to know she's a (clean freak/mess)." Everyone laughed as our party name was called.

*Time skip because it's late and I don't want to think about food*

After we ate and payed the bill, we all separated ways for the night. I have to say meeting Pj, Chris and Louise in person was surely something.
All of them of course had their own individual personalities, not to mention the fact that Dan's awkwardness went up even more since Louise was around.
No kidding.
Durning the meal he accidentally elbowed the waiter, who at that time had probably had enough of all of us asking of butter and such (a/n I'm going to make some references here can you guess it?), by the time we had our entries out there were at least 10 plates of butter sitting out on the table. Which they then took away with annoyed looks.
For most of the meal I was silent, letting Dan and Phil catching up on lost time with their friends. Though sometimes I was added into the conversation or Louise would begin to talk to me, glad that another girl was now in the group.
But there was something about tonight that bothered me.
