Chapter 43

Hey people who read this book...how are you doing...good well that's awesome.
I don't know I just thought I'd begin this chapter differently, you know have some variations from chapter to chapter, because the same things get boring after awhile.
Honestly I don't know if Dan and Phil live anywhere near a park but what the hell that'd why this is a fan fiction, key word being fiction.

*Time Skip...To The Park!!*

"Yay the outdoors." Dan said sarcastically, I smiled a bit.
"Thank for coming with me Dan." I said reaching for his hand but then realizing were in public, I pulled back. Though the park wasn't that fill of people I couldn't risk someone finding out.
"I couldn't just let you and Phil have all the fun, even though a pick-Nick really isn't my kind of thing." I nodded in response as Dan laced our fingers together, watching as Phil walked in front of us.
"Don't worry about people finding out." Dan said silently.
"I know but I just thought..." I paused thinking of what I should say.
"I don't mind if people find out, but if your uncomfortable with me holding your hand in public." Dan said loosing his hold on my hand.
"I-I don't mind it's just I thought you wanted to keep it a secret."
"Nothing is truly a secret." Dan said kissing me cheek.
"Right here." Phil said suddenly stopping. A big smile stretched across his face, in front of him a neatly cut section of grass next to different colored and shaped flowers.
"Good choice Phil." I said patting him on the back, as he helped me open up the blanket.
"Awesome." Dan said with a small smile.
"Again thanks for coming Dan." I said as Dan and I sat down on he blanket. Phil placed the plastic bags filled with food on the middle, along with a frisbee and a volleyball. (A/n Dan, Phil and a volleyball this is going to be interesting.)
"So go you guys just want to sit and talk for a bit or eat?" Phil said obviously wanted to eat.
"We can eat first, that's kind of the point of coming out here in the first place." I replied grabbing a container of (food item) out of the bag.
"Yeah why else would we leave the house, unless there was food involved." Dan said getting (food item out of the bag closest to him.
"It was just a suggestion." Phil said making a pouting face.

After eating, I decided that it was time to actually do something. Physical activity, Dan and Phil's worst nightmare.
"Let's pass the volleyball around." I said standing up, grabbing the volleyball.
"I'll just sit here and watch." Dan said laying down on the blanket.
"What about you Phil?" He stood up and smiled.
"Let's see if watching an anime about volleyball pays off." Phil said with a determined face.
"I don't think that's how it works, Phil." I said the determined look still glued to Phil's face as I tossed the ball towards him. Phil went towards the ball as it went right past him.
"You almost had it." I said with a shocked look.
"I blame the wind." Phil replied with a pouty look, Dan watched from the blanket as Phil failed to get the ball every time.
Then finally he hit it. I backed up and hit the ball back over to Phil at full force, making me drop to the ground.
Dan's started to laugh at me, as Phil hit the ball. It hurtled over towards me, quickly I moved towards the volleyball and hit back towards Phil, well at least I thought it'd go to Phil. Instead the ball bounced off the ground hitting Dan in the head.
"What the hell was that for?!" Dan said shooting back to reality.
"Sorry Dan." I said walking over to him and hugging him.
"You're going to pay for that." Dan whispered in my ear, chills ran up and down my spine. I stayed silent and kissed the top of his head, where the ball had hit him.
"You okay Dan?" Phil asked as I reached for the ball sitting next to Dan.
"I'll live."
"Awesome." Phil replied back as I threw the ball over to him, he attempted to catch it. The ball bouncing off his finger tips.
"Ouch." Phil yelped.
"Maybe we shouldn't play with the volleyball." Dan said.
"Why, my parents always told me it isn't a good game if someone isn't injure in some way."
"Your parents are weird." Dan replied putting an arm around my shoulder. "But the next person to get hurt will probably be you and I don't want that to happen." Dan said silently enough that only I could hear him.
"I'm a big girl, Dan. There's no need to protect me." I said kissing him in the cheek and standing up. "Thank you for the concern though." I walked away from Dan, then waited for Phil to toss the volleyball to me.

After Phil and I played some volleyball we tossed the frisbee around untilDan decided that there could be a chance of me getting hurt just playing that.
"You don't need to worry about me." I said as Dan wrapped his arms around me.
"Yes I do." He replied kissing my forehead.
"Why?"
"Because...um...I can." Dan replied blushing. He twitched as a drop of water touched his head.
"Looks like it's about to rain." I said as a drop of rain landed on my nose.
"Maybe." Dan said smiling, Phil ran towards a tree with a bag and the blanket in hand. Dan rushed after him, with the rest of the bags in hand. I followed along at my own speed and slowly the rain started to fall harder, causing my (long / short) (h/c) hair to become damp.
"Come on slowly poke." Phil shouted from the tree.
"I'm coming." I shouted back, taking my time walking through the rain. Dan watched with a worried look, then made hesitated movement. He shook his head then walked out to where I was. Putting his jacket over my head.
"You don't have to do that." I said as he laid the jacket over my head.
"Yes I do." Dan replied walking next to me, his dark brown hair beaded with rain droplets.
As we made it under the tree, I handed him is jacket back, Dan pushed it away. I put the wet jacket over his shoulders, he looked at me, annoyed, placing the jacket over my shoulders.
"You'll catch a cold if you don't wear a jacket." Dan said as I rolled my eyes smiling.
"But I'm not cold." I replied.
"Come on I'm trying to reenact a scene from a romantic movie, deal with the damn jacket in your shoulders." Dan snapped jokingly.
"In that case thank you." I said hiding the fact that I was actually freezing my ass off.
"Your welcome." Dan said as the rain fell harder.
"What do we do now?" Phil asked resting his arm on my shoulder.
"Honestly I have no clue." Dan replied.
"We could run through the rain, or just wait it out."
"And be outside any longer than I have to be, kill me now." Dan said dramatically.
"Oh your such a drama queen." I said messing up his wet hair.
"Now my hairs going to be all curly and shit." Dan whined.
"I can't wait to see that." I replied with a smile, though I've known Dan for 2 months, probably more at this point, but I've honestly never seen him with hobbit hair.
"But seriously are we just going to wait it out or run through the rain."
"I say wait it out." Phil said.
"I say to not do that." Dan replied.
"I guess it's up to me then." I said. "I think we'll just have to catch a cab or something."
"So run through the rain?" Phil said with a worried look. "Me plus rain doubles the amount of clumsiness I produce on a daily basis."
"Don't worry Phil, you want to get home don't you." I said patting him on the back.
"Yeah but not at the cost of publicly embarrassing myself if I fall."
"You won't." I replied reassuring him.
"Alright let's get a move on." Dan said as we made our way out into the rain.

So how was the chapter?? I know there was a lot of repetitive words but it's hard to describe how to play volleyball.
Sorry for only that one gif in the beginning of the chapter. I couldn't find any Dan and Phil outside related gifs.
Anyway my birthday is tomorrow and that means that Dan's is 10 days away (after my birthday it will be 10 days away).
All the Gemini's in the world unite!!! Or not that's okay but still June is starting up.
Interesting fact-
Tennessee became a state on June 1st 1796. If you didn't know I'm from Tennessee...I probably just bored you to death.
