Chapter 8

"Excuse me." I turned around, giving the person an annoyed face, (y/n) still clinging to me.

I looked at the strange man I front of me.
"I was wondering if your partner there wanted to dance." The mans voice was deep and intermediating.
(Y/n)'s head perked up and looked at the man with confusion. She then say on my lap.
"Sorry I'm sort of on a date her." (Y/n) kissed me on the cheek once more.
"Come on it's just a little dance. I'll buy you a drink." As soon as he said this all the sirens went off in my head.
"She said no." I said wrapping my arm around her hip, (y/n) smiled.
"Come on let's leave this place." (Y/n) said grabbing my hand and swerved her way to the entrance on the building.
"My house or your house?" I whispered in (y/n)'s ear.
"Mine." She stated waving her hand in the air, a taxi pulled up almost immediately. 
I looked in the corner of my eye to see that man again, but with others around him. I got in first, then everything went dark for a second.
"Oh shi-shoot sorry Dan." (Y/n) said from on top of me.
"It's okay." I said carefully sliding her off of me. Not that I'd didn't like having her on top of me, it was just the wrong place, wrong time.
"It's okay I had a couple this morning making out." The taxi driver said.
"Oh we aren't a couple." (Y/n) looked at me sort of sad when I said this.
"You should be its not everyday a girl fall on you. Let alone falls for you." I smiled a bit imagining (y/n) and I together, as a couple.
For most of the ride it was silent, (y/n) had fallen asleep. Her head on my shoulder, with our fingers laced together.
I pressed my lips against her forehead, her eyes started to open.
"Do that again." She mumbled.
I did as she said pressing my lips against her forehead once more.
(Y/n) moved slightly, she sat up and stretched as soon as we stopped in front of the apartment complex.
We walked to her apartment, and talked for a bit.
"I had fun tonight."
"Me too, you sound like your a bit more sober." (Y/n) smiled.
"I can feel the heartache already." (Y/n) said rubbing her head.
She unlocked her door and looked at me with a longing face. Almost as if she felt like there was something missing, or at least I felt like there was something missing. Something to top off the night.
I turned around and went to my door and unlocked it. I don't know what hit me but I felt like I needed to do something.
She turned the door handle and was about to walk inside.
"(Y/n) wait." I said turning around and walking toward her. She stopped and looked at me.
Our faces were inches away, then came closer and closer until it happened. I pressed my lips against (y/n)'s soft (lip color) lips. She then kissed back, I don't know why but I started walking into her apartment. She followed from the front, matching my steps with her's. The kiss started to get heated and needy.
We parted for a bit to catch out breaths.
"Wow." (Y/n) said her eyes wide, and blushing.
"Should we wait or continue." I asked, I didn't want to rush things.
"I'd like to press pause and then maybe later we can press play." (Y/n) smiled. "But if you want to you can stay over."
"Sure I'd loved to I'll go get my sweat pants and some movies." I said with a smile as I left to go get my things.
*(y/n) POV*
Dan left to go and get his things, closing the door behind him. I breathed in heavily, trying to comprehend what just happened.
"Wake up (y/n)!" I shouted silently pinching myself.
For most of the night I had been partly drunk but mostly sober. I acted as if I was drunk to see what Dan would do, and as I thought he was smart and watched out for me.
I ran to my room and got my (favorite animal) PJs on, just as Dan knocked on the door.
"Ready for some movies!"
"Yeah!" I said trying to sound a bit drunk.
"I guess you can say this is part two of the best date ever." Dan smiled as we sat on the couch together cuddling. He wrapped his arm loosely around my waist, allowing me to get the remote and turn of the Tv.
I tried to get up to put the DVD in. Dan stopped me tightening his hold.
"Dan if you want to watch a movie your going to have to let up." I said still laying next to Dan.
"But your so warm. If you go for even a fraction of a second I'll be cold." Dan said, placing his head in the cook of my neck.
"So you don't want to watch a movie?" I asked, still trying to escape Dan hold.
"Nope. I brought them over for future dates." I blushed at the thought of Dan and I dating more often.
"So you just want to sit here and do nothing."
"We can talk. If you want to watch a movie that's okay I don't mind." Dan said loosening him hold. Allowing me to get up and get open the DVD player and put (favorite movie) into the player.
*time skip*
About half way through the movie I started to feel tired, I yawned and stretched a bit.
"You tired?" Dan asked kissing my forehead.
"A bit." I said yawning again.
"If you want me too I can try to carry you to your bed." I smiled at Dan who was blushing a bit.
"I think I can walk to my room just fine. But that's Dan."
"Nope I'm going to carry you." Dan said and picked me up bridle style, well almost. "I can give you a piggy back." He said smiling.
"That sounds safer." I replied back standing on the couch. I placed my arms around his neck, Dan held my legs to keep me from falling off his back.
"Here we go." Dan said as he slowly made his way to my room. Actually he's never been in my room or anywhere, except for the living room so I guide him through the hallway to my room.
Soon enough we made it to my room, Dan dropped me on my bed. He looked at the (f/c) sheets on my bed and the (favorite anime character) pillow I had.
"I see you have a (favorite anime character) pillow." Dan laughed as he sat next to me. "(Y/n)?"
"Yeah Dan?" I asked sort of concerned now.
"Can we press play now? Or are we still on pause?" Dan asked sounding a bit desperate.
"We will be on pause for a while. Actually we will skip the scene entirely, well at least for now." I smiled at Dan.

Hey so...how's it going I told you I'd put some romance in this and look what I did.
The next chapter will hopefully have a good scene i don't know. I'm not going fully smut because...reasons.
Anyway it'll be subtle or something. But anyway next chapter you'll learn more and maybe things will be revealed.
Not thing things but...god I just made that weird.
