Lauren POV
Y/n and Dinah both fell asleep so I went to sleep with them. I had a rough day, the last thing I wanted to do was kick someone out of my house.
We woke up in the late afternoon to the sound of my doorbell. I was upset that I spent an entire day sleeping, that's entire day wasted. But I was thankful that my parents didn't force me to go to school today.
"Are you gonna get that?" Dinah asked, still half asleep.
Your POV
"I got it." I said and got up to answer the front door. Lauren tried to beat me to it, but I simply told her to stay in bed, well on the floor since that's where we all fell asleep last night.
I opened her front door to be met with that no-lipped, douche bag, Brad. Also known as Lauren's soon-to-be ex-boyfriend. When he saw it was me at the door, his smug smile dropped to the floor.
"What are you doing at my girlfriend's house?" He spat, eyeing me up and down.
He tried to intimidate me which was surprising considering I was a few inches taller than him and he was a pipsqueak. I could probably knock him over with my middle finger.
I decided I didn't want to fight him just yet, so I went to close the front door. I'm sure Lauren didn't want to talk to him either.
He stopped the door with his foot. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" He shouted. "I'm here to see my girlfriend."
"Your girlfriend doesn't want to see you." I spat, shoving him away from Lauren's front door.
"What the hell are you doing? You can't just-" I shoved him again, sending him down to the ground. He squealed when he hit the ground and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"What? You think kicking me out will get Lauren to love you? Newsflash; Lauren would never like you. Not even your family likes you. You were missing for over a year and were never found because they. Weren't. Looking." He spat, hate laced between each word. "And I'm not surprised, I'm look at you. You're a dyke. You've got no friends. You're a social reject. No one could love someone like you." He made his way back to his feet.
His words cut through me like a knife. I tried not to let him get to me, but what he said was true.
I did what I thought would be best and tackled Brad back to the ground. He groaned when we hit the ground.
"Who the fuck gave you the right to talk to me like that, huh?"
I threw a couple punches at him. My right fist then my left fist, one after the other. I hit him square in the jaw, then right in the mouth. His face is already fucked up, and I'm just getting started.
Lauren POV
"Do you hear that?" Dinah asked, getting really excited.
I listened closely and heard yelling coming from outside. I nodded before getting up and walking towards the front door with Dinah following close behind.
We didn't know what the fuck was going on out there, so instead of opening the door, we looked out the window.
I was somewhat shocked at the sight in front of me. But I knew this would happen sooner or later.
"Whoa! Your girlfriend's beating the shit out of bread." Dinah said, clearly amused by the scene in front of us.
"Come on, I don't want anyone getting hurt. We should stop this before it goes too far." I said, walking towards the door but Dinah grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
"No, it hasn't gone that far yet. I want to see how this plays out." Dinah continued watching in amusement.
