Paul stood up and backed up, only to back into a fence. Mary McCartney's smile faded and she put her bike on the ground.

"It is okay, don't be afraid. Im not going to hurt you." She said advancing, only making Paul panic more.

Paul felt scared now, his mother was dead, but a lot of weird things had happened, why didn't John feel like he did. His mum had died to, but Paul couldn't understand, or read his best friend's mind. Paul looked at his feet and slid to the ground. He hugged his knees and hid his face in his arms.

Paul couldn't remember the last time he ever cried for his mum. But he felt like it now, just looking at the lady in front of him made him think of Mary.

Mary kneeled down next to Paul and pulled her coat closer around her. Her navy blue and white nurse uniform hood covered her years and forehead. She put a hand on Paul's shoulder.

"Whats your name?" She asked.

"Paul!" A male voice came around the corner and he stared at the two. "Whats wrong?"

"Is his name Paul?" Mary said standing up and facing John.

John nodded and looked at Mary then at Paul. "He will be okay, ma'am."

The girl John had ran into, and who was with Paul, resembled his friend very much. He stared at her a few minutes before she looked at him.

"Whats your name, may i asked." She asked in a sweet soothing voice.

"John."

"Im Mary, you may call me Mary." She smiled.

John extended a hand. "Oh your Pa..." He stopped when he realized that she didn't know his friend was her son.

"Oh what?" She asked, cocking her head.

"Nevermind. I getting mixed with some one else." John smiled.

"alright, well you two better get home. Its about to rain again." She said pointing up to the clouds which were becoming darker by the minute.

I nodded and Mary walked down the side walk, bike at her side. Where was her car? John thought has a turned back to his friend who was still holding his knees.

Paul began to sob a bit loudly now and breathed heavily. It began to rain harder than usual, and there were lightning and thunder everywhere. I tried to grab Paul but he just stayed there.

"Paul! Come on! Its rainin' cant ya see!" John shouted over the noisy ran. Paul still didn't move.

"Im leaving' Paul!" John shouted, he was drenched now, and the wind that came along was biting at his skin. He began to walk off then looked back. Paul was still there.

"Paul! Get out will you!" John shouted again.

Paul heard his friends shout but he was to much in a state that he really couldn't move. He felt terrible now, but knew he must get out of the heavy rain. A hand grabbed his arm and he looked up, John was there. He had always been.

"Come on Paul! Its getting cold!" He shouted. "Paul! Ill be at that small shop." John growled and walked off to the little shop. After a while the rain began to slow down, and soon came to a stop. John looked out and Paul still wasn't coming. He walked out and towards his friend, who, when he came to him, was laying curled up on the ground, trying to stay warm. Which was impossible in his state.

John rolled his eyes and walked up to his friend. Paul was pale, his lips were parted and his eyes closed. John shook his sleeping friend, but he wouldn't wake up.

"Paul! Wake up!" John began to panic.

Paul didn't move, his eyes remained closed, none of his body moved. He was stiff. John looked around and lifted his friend, putting him in an upright position. Thats when he noticed Paul's head, there was blood coming from it. Not as much but on the ground was a lot.
