JOHNs POV

---

When i opened my eyes, my ears immediately picked up the sound of beeping. I looked around and saw a nurse, who's back was turned and she was writing something down.

She turned around and gasped at me. I grinned.

"Thank goodness your a wake." She smiled.

"Were ye worried?"

"No. But you had a really bad head injury. Do you remember what happened before?"

"I uh," I tried to recollect. "No."

"Whats your name?"

"I uh, don't know." I looked curiously at my feet, which were under the covers.

"Pretty good hit. Well let me get the doctor in here."

"Um, can, what happened?"

"Your friends said you got attacked. Let me get them." She smiled and put her small hand in mine.

"Your a lovely bird." I grinned, i felt groggy.

She giggled. "Thank you." Then she left the room.

Two other lads came into the room, both had concerned looks on their faces.

"How are you John?"

"They told us you don't remember much."

"Who are you?" I asked, though they seemed so familiar.

"Im George, this is Ringo. Remember?"

"I, no...i don't even know who i am." Then i did something i didn't usually do.

"Now, John, it doesnt do any good to cry."

"Riingo, don't act like that, you sound like a mum." George hit Ringo's arm.

The doctor came in and felt my head.

"You all better head home. Its getting close to closing time."

"Yes sir." George looked at me sorrowfully and walked out, Ringo following shortly behind.

"You get some sleep, John." The doctor said and patted my arm.

I wiped my face and breathed. He shut the door and turned off the light. Outside the moon was big and it streamed in. I felt alone again, not again lately. But it was an alone feeling i didn't like. I couldnt quite place why i felt this way, i just did.

Few hours later--Narrater's POV

--

"Keep it down." A man's voice whispered harshly.

"Right."

The windows slit open and in stepped a man. A shining thing in his hand, it flickered in the moonlight.

John heard the little noise of the window open and slowly opened his eyes. The man raised the blade above John's chest and gripped it hard. Quickly John began to scream and rolled off the bed. He ran to the door and swung it open, then slammed it shut.

His head felt painful but he knew he needed to get away from those murderers. Why they wanted to kill him, he didn't know. The halls were a bit slippery since jOhn was in just his socks, and a hospital slip. He turned a corner, only to bump into the man he met earlier. THe man picked John up as easy as a feather. John struggled to get loose.

"Don't struggle."

"Let go."

"YOu remember who i am?"
