"John...John! Would you wake up!"

John opened his eyes slowly and looked up at his best friend.

"What are you dreamin' about any how?" Paul asked and folded his arms as he sat beside John on the bed.

"Why?"

"Your smiling!"

"Oh, uh, um, home. Cynthia. It was so peaceful." He sighed then cringed. "My side hurts."

"Yeah, we'll get you something for that. Lebeau will bring in the tea soon."

"Alright thanks."

"He's making some french soup for dinner too."

"That'll be interesting."

"Well i better get out."

"Hows the new Colonel?"

"Um, hes okay. I prefer Col. Hogan."

"Well you can still take orders from Hogan." John chuckled a little bit.

"Yup! But it still messes up our plans. The Colonel, the British one, has a few men behind the barracks working on a way to get out. Oh and you're going to move back to your bunk."

"Good. So plans...?" John questioned further.

"For one we're gonna figure out how to get back home."

"Good idea. And hopefully im better by then."

"Yeah."

"Paul this sort of business is growing on ya, huh?" John chuckled.

"I guess it is. Though i want to go home, badly."

"I know me too." John said sleepily.

"Ill let you get some sleep."

"No i don't want to fall asleep. Stay in here with me. I don't want anything to happen again." John pleaded.

"But i cant."

A bell rang loudly, making both Beatles jump. John groaned and put his hand on his head, Paul sighed and chuckled a bit.

"You'd think by now i'd be used to that bell. Well i better head out to role call."

"Paul the Prisoner. Oh wont that be an interesting story!"

"No it wouldn't."

"What will you tell Jane? That you went back in time and was in a prisoner of war camp in germany on the year you were born?" He laughed.

"You will have the same story to tell Cynthia and Julian!"

"Oh brother."

"You have a wife and child?" A voice from behind asked.

"Oh hey Carter. Yes i do. I thought i told you that?" John queried.

"Don't remember, then again im not to good a memorization."

"Oh. Well what is it?" John asked.

"Just telling Paul to get outside. Schultz is wondering."

"Okay. Well see ya Johnny." Paul smiled and followed Carter out the door.

Ringo was looking around the tunnels, while Kinch was waiting for a message on the radio. He had learned to work the radio and did it when Kinch wasn't available. Ringo stopped and listened to something he heard from above.

"Kinch."

"What?"

"The alarms went off!"

Kinch put down the pad and pencil he was holding and climbed up the ladder quickly. Ringo did the same.

"Whats the matter?" Kinch asked the other boys.

"Colonel Hogan is checking it out." Newkirk said and handed a card to George.

"Thanks." George said without looking up.

"George you should grow a mustache don't look to bad." Ringo commented. George looked upu quickly.

"As soon as im finished with this game Im gonna shave! I don't want a mustache!" George frowned.

"Okay, okay. Sorry." Ringo raised his hands up in surrender.

Hogan came in slowly. "The colonel was shot while escaping." He said.

"Dead?" Kinch asked.

"Yup."

"Thats horrible!" Ringo said, sympathetically.

Paul came rom the door quickly and walked up to Hogan. "John just woke up and told me that the colonel told him to give you this." He handed him a piece of paper.

"Thanks." Hogan opened it and read it.

"Well?"

"He's telling us what he's doing and that he gave us a chance but we didn't listen and he went anyways."

"Thats some officer." Newkirk shook his head.

"He's one of yours." Carter said.

"Yeah i know. Shame full."

"Well, Carter, lets get to that ammunition dump, huh?" Hogan clapped his hands together.

"Now?"

"Well you and the others. Im staying here with John and am going to write a letter for the Colonel."

"Why?"

"Is loved ones will want to know about this!" Hogan said.

Carter shrugged. "Well Im ready! You lads?"

"Colonel you trust us?"

"Yeah. This time im putting Kinch in charge." Hogan put an arm on Kinch's shoulder.

"Me?"

"Yes you." Hogan shook his head. "Good luck men." Hogan walked into his own room and shut his door.

Everyone looked at each other then all eyes landed on Kinch.

"Well you heard 'em. Lets get this over with!" Kinch said and went down the tunnel.

"We're coming too." The three Beatles both said in unison, standing up.

"No you all got to stay here so you can go back to your time." Carter said.

"But we want to, besides you only have four men." Ringo reasoned.

"The answer is no." Kinch said.

"Oh come on, mon ami, if they want to come let them!" LeBeau said.

"But your lives will be in danger."

"So. I like fun." George shrugged.

"Yeah besides i've never seen a bomb sight blow up."

"I thought it was an ammunition dump?" Paul looked at Ringo curiously.

Kinch sighed. "Fine come along."

The three lads grinned and hurried down the ladder into the tunnels.
