Yang, Blake, Weiss, Jaune, and Ren stand to the side as Ruby and Nora circle each other. Ruby must defend the honor of her music. Nora just has nothing better to do. The five bystanders just think it will be funny. Well Jaune knows both girls are something not to be messed with and suspects them fighting will be epic. Also Ren is more here because everyone else is but whatever.

Yang asks,"What are the rules of the fight?" She has her phone out to film this. Her dad texted her and asked if she has seen Ruby. After she told him she was with her he sent her a long message about how proud he was that his little babies are spending time together. She is thinking of blocking him. So lame. Even though she feels the same. However, she's sure her dad wouldn't be okay with Ruby fighting some girl.

"The rules of the fight? Ha! There are no rules!" Nora screams. She's so up beat about it. She could kill somebody and smile. Actually she'll probably smile because she's killing somebody. She scares me a little.

"Oh, okay." Yang is a little concerned, but it's not like it's a real fight. All they're gonna do is slap each other lightly. Ruby is a little good girl who wouldn't hurt anyone. Yang remembers when Ruby cried because Uncle Qrow killed a fly. Her baby sister is so cute and innocent. . .

The fight starts and Ruby, quick as lightening, crane kicks Nora. She's a purple belt. She doesn't practice a lot but every so often she helps Ren train. The boy is a straight up ninja.

Nora is hardly fazed. She gets in the right stance and to punch Ruby with everything she's got. She thinks all marshal arts are totally lame but she does boxing at the Y. The younger girl dodged quickly. She goes to kick again but Nora flips away. Nora was also on the cheer team but was kicked of for reasons.

The three girls watch on in amazement. The guys are used to it. Weiss, of all people, is the most impressed by Ruby's skills. Never in a million years did Weiss think she could be graceful. Maybe, if they still have to be friends, she'll try to get Ruby into the dance studio.

The girls continue to fight. Everyone is completely silent so the girls can focus. Not even the birds are twitting. Everything is on mute.

Everyone turns to Blake. Her phone is ringing. She looks down to her pocket. Taking out her phone slowly she avoids the eyes of the others. The match continues as she steps away from the group to talk in private.

Base on the ringtone she knows who it is. Yes, she has consume Hamilton ringtones for everyone on her contracts. Blake has been dredging having to talk to him. However she picks Sun's call as fast as she could.

"Hey, Blake." He sounds so nervous. Even Blake has to admit Sun is a pretty cool guy, but sometimes he gets nervous and it's so cute. Yes, Blake thinks he's a little cute, but she wouldn't date him.

"Hello, Sun." Blake tries to sound cold. She needs to hide the little feelings she has for him. He doesn't need to get his hopes up to much. She can tell his feeling are genuine and it can be really sweet sometimes. But Blake has feeling for someone else. You know that I don't want to talk about THAT yet.

"I'm just calling to say sorry about earlier. I shouldn't have been bugging you while you were talking the test and I should have said something when you were getting sent to the office. I'm really sorry." This is on of the moments when Sun's voice is super sweet.

She watches the fight from he spot and thinks about how to reply to that. She's still angry at him but it's not to big of a deal."You know what Sun? Don't worry about it."

"Really? Your not mad?" Sun sounds so happy, it's warming up her heart. She pushes it away as she watches Nora's right hook meeting Ruby's palm. Nice block!

"Oh, I'm still mad, but don't worry about it." Ruby is getting the upper hand." Now I got to go" The young girl is beating her adornment. "Go Ruby! Kick her butt!" She gotta watch the end. "Bye Sun!"

She hangs up and joins the rest. "Looks like Ruby is gonna win this." Weiss comments. The rest nod. Ren shakes his head and makes a hmm sound. "What's up? Does Nora like have a secret weapon or something?"

"You could say that. Ruby is a great fighter but she doesn't have much physical strength. She's better with strategy and speed. Nora on the other hand. . ." As Ren talks Nora picks Ruby up and lifts her over her head. They're the same height.

Nora looks up to her friend and grins evilly. "Ruby, do you give up or do you wanna walk around like this? We could go to the mall and look for that person you saw the other day. I'm sure me carrying you will get their attention."

"Nope! You win! You win!" Ruby waves her arms all over the place. "Put me down! Please!" She is the most embarrassing moment in her life. Then again almost every other moment in her life is in the running.

Nora puts her down. "Hey the days still young, let's actually go to the mall and look for the poor soul who will have Ruby as a wife." The other day the four of them were all at the mall and they met somebody who is just perfect for Ruby. Now it's Nora life mission to get them together.

"Oh that sounds fun!" Yang cheers. Nora and Ruby look at the other three girls. They both completely forgot they were here. They would't have battled if they had realized they would be watching. To even further add salt to Ruby's wound her sister winks and says," Your future husband better be cute, Lil Sis."

"Okay, the three of us will finish our club stuff while you four get Ruby a date. It can be like your friendship lesson or something." June push the four girls away. Omg he's touching Weiss. " And if Ruby has something she needs to tell Yang she can." Let's just say June knows something Yang doesn't.

"Why do they get to play match maker? It was my idea!" Nora pouts. If anyone should be Ruby's cupid then it should be her. She was the whole reason they met in the first place.

"Because," Ren pops up behind her. "you made me help you form a club and make me get up at 4:15 every other morning to get things set up. You'll doing club activities."

"Fine. Hey, Ruby, I'm gonna be your maid of honor right?" Nora has both Ruby's and her own wedding planned already. She hasn't decided on which suit would look better on Ren. Oh no I've said too much!

Ruby smiles. "Yea of curse! Who else would it be?" Yang's face: excuse you? "You're basically my big sister!" Yang's face: EXCUSE YOU? Once again, Ruby forgot Yang was there.

Jaune, forgetting Weiss, his love, was there, takes charge of the situation to avoid unneeded disaster. "Okay, ladies, have a good time! Don't come back until you get Ruby a fence!" He pushes them towards the parking lot. If he had remembered he would have just been useless.

"Well that could have been bad. Nora vs Yang, ultimate battle. I do not want to see the aftermath of that." Ren says.

"I could win easily! Because I'm better! You think I'm way better than Yang, right Ren?" Ren doesn't want to say anything to that. Good way to get on Nora's bad side. "REN?"

"Well guys, those club activities won't do themselves! Let's go!" Once again Jaune is the drama blocker. The three go back inside in to start work.

7A here with an author's note. I promise there won't be anymore ninja fights in this nice slice of life flavored pie. Unless y'all want more fights, but if that's the case it won't be very often. But now we're going into the shipping parts! Yay! Most ship be in the story somehow(many as just jokes) but know everyone's lives are in my hands.*evil laugh but fails* Also, there's about to be some Lgbtq themes but, hopeful, nothing that could "trigger" someone.
