How to be friends

"You wanted to see me?" Ruby asked when she opened the office door. Ozpin, Weiss, Blake, and her sister were all in there. Ozpin was at his desk, Blake and Yang were standing next to him, and Weiss was at the seat across from him. The seat next to her was empty.

"Yes, please take a seat." She does. Weiss is glaring dangers at her. Poor Ruby is terrified. She was called out of art class to see Principle Ozpin. A few minutes before that she saw Weiss walk to the office from the window of the door.

Once she's seated, Ozpin began to tell them what's up. "You two have been having disagreements since Miss Rose transferred here." You can tell his serious because he didn't use first names. "This
has to stop. Luckily I believe I've found a solution. Yang and Blake have agreed to help you learn how to be friends."

Nobody says anything than. . . "YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!" Weiss exclaimed. Never in a million years will she and Ruby be friends. She cannot stand her.

"Oh! This reminds me of a comic I read! Of curse the girls were superheroes and had to be friends to save the world, but it's basically the same thing!"

"I've read that." Blake says. "If I remember correctly the girls end up falling in love." Ruby images her and Weiss in wedding dresses with church bells in the background. She's blushing and smiling with a blank look on her face.

"I am NOT doing this!" Weiss slams her hands on the desk. She goes to storm out, but is stopped.

"Either do it or I'll be forced to tell your father about the fight this mourning." She turns back to Ozpin. He has been very generous and hasn't told her father about any of the fights. However, it seems he reached his limit. She goes back and sinks down into the chair. "Good. Now the four of you will meet after school every single day in the library."

"Sir, I have a club I have to go to after school on Tuesday and Thursday!" The Heroes Club is an official school club dedicated to fictional characters the members look up to. The main goal of the club is to be like the heroes. So basically they go around and be nice to people.

"Then I guess you will have to work hard to be friends as soon as possible." He sips his coffee. He still has some left because the four girls have had him very busy this mourning. "Now, you all may go back to class."

Weiss and Ruby get up. Blake and Yang walk up to Weiss. The three began to talk about whatever. They all walk together in deep conversion. Ruby, feeling lonely and out of place, puts her hands in her pockets and her hood up and walks a few feet behind them.

It's after school and the girls are in the library. Yang and Blake are supposed to be guiding Ruby and Weiss on how to get along, but they got detached by talking to Weiss about how they got in trouble. Ruby, who isn't in their little circle, is sitting away from them with headphones on.

"Wow, I can't believe Sun did that. This is why I never liked him." Weiss says after Blake told her about her fight with Sun.

"Hey, I'm sure Sun feels terrible about getting Blake in trouble. The guy's just talkative." Yang says, sticking up for her friend. Sure Sun can be kind of annoying, but everyone is from time to time.

Blake nods. "Yea, still, I wish he would stop trying to flirt with me. I don't want to be rude and turn him down, but I feel bad letting him think there's a chance we could be a couple."

"I don't know, Blake, there's more of a chance than you like to believe." Yang winks. She knows all about how Blake kind of thinks he's charming. They talked all about it in a sleep over.

"And what's that supposed to mean?"

"She means you like Sun but won't admit it to yourself. Listen to Yang, she does more about love than either of us combined." No Yang knows more about getting with guys. Blake is the only one who has been in love with somebody. But let's not get into that right now.

Jaune, Ren, and Nora are walking to the library to see if Ruby is done with what she had to do in the library. She told them at lunch that she couldn't go to the club today. The four of them are the founding members. Only Ren doesn't really want to. He's just being forced to by his friends.

They find Ruby as soon as they walk in. Bright red is hard to miss. She doesn't notice them sit in the chairs next to her. Nora, who is to her left, whispers to her. "Really, Red Rose," Ruby's super hero name." you skipped the club to sit in the library and listen to your emo music? For shame!" Nora's whisper is the advantage person's normal tone.

Ruby looks around her. Her real friends came to rescue her! But Nora instituted her music and she can't stand for that. "Paramore isn't emo, they're pop punk. Get it right."

"Let's not worry about that right now." Jaune says. His the peace keeper of the group. "So, Ruby, why are you in the library and not in the court lard doing group activities?"

"Some stupid thing Ozpin is making us do."She answers. " Now can I continue to defend my music's honor?" Ruby in fully prepared to fight Nora in some epic samurai fight. She can see it now. Nora and her meet at dawn, swords ready. She will give an epic speech about the true meaning of music and defeat Nora in one swing. Than Ren will go full ninja mode and hunt her down for killing his love. Only after her death did he realize he loved his best friend.

Her fantasy is ended by Ren saying. "Nope. Now who is us? Nobody is with you." The only other people are Yang, Weiss, and Blake and surly Ruby isn't with them. She is at a completely different table.

Ruby sighs. "Them," She nods to the three girls. The overhead them talking and are looking at them. Jaune has never seen Weiss look more beautiful. He tries to get up and speak to her but Ren is holding him back. Ren won't let his friend make a fool out of himself again today. The first happened seventh period and doesn't really matter right now.

Yang is the first to talk. "Blake and I are supposed to be showing these two that two people can be different and not fight like crazy. We kind of got distracted."

"Screw that! Fighting is always the best way to go. Right, Red Rose?" Nora is standing on her chair.

"Heck yea, Pink Lightening!" Ruby is also standing on her chair. "Speaking of fighting, I have no choice but to challenge you to a duel for your complete disrespect of my music!" The two stare into each other's eyes dramatically. Oh, it's on.

"Guys, get off the chairs. The librarian could come in any minute and I'm sure don't want to go to detention." Once again, Rent ruin the fun. The girls glare down at him.

"Actually," Blake says. " I'm charge of the library and I would like to see this. Please continue."

"Sweet! But maybe we should take this outside. Ozpin is already mad at me for all the other things I broke." Nora broke so many things. The horror! THE HORROR!

"Fine by me." Ren sighs and follows the girls out. Jaune winks at Weiss and hurries after his friends. They never wait for him!

"What about our friendship study?" Yang asks. Of curse, Ruby will choose Nora over her. Yang isn't jealous or anything. You baka! Wait that isn't Yang's character. Insert pun.

"This seems WAY more interesting." The three girls go out to watch the fight. This should be good.
