Red Vs White

Ruby waves goodbye to her three friends and walks into her Science room. She finds her seat. Luckily for her she sits alone by the window. There is an uneven amount of students in the class so one person doesn't have a partner. She is that person.

Class starts and Dr. Oobleck hands back their quizzes from last Friday. When he gets to Ruby he gives her a paper with a big A on it. "Good job, Miss Rose. But that isn't a surprise from you." She blushes. He continues on his way. He gets to Weiss. "Good."

She. Missed. One. "Can I re-take it?" She asked. She can't miss a question. Perfection is the only option.

He laughs. "Miss Shcee, it's only one question. You'll be fine." He looks at the empty seat next to her. "Is your partner out today? We're doing a lab so you can work with Miss Rose today."

'Today can't get any worse.' She thinks as she takes her stuff to Ruby's station. Ruby greets her awkwardly with a sup. Weiss doesn't respond. 'Man, Weiss is really giving me the cold shoulder.' Ruby thinks. She laughs at her own joke. The other girl glares at her.

When it's time to begin things don't get better. The whole time Weiss tells Ruby she's doing something wrong. Or is doing something too slow. Or too fast. "Weiss, I know what I'm doing!" This causes a full out fight.

"Really? I honesty don't think you do. I bet you can't even tie your shoes."

"You know what you are? A big meanie, that's what!" Ruby realizes that was lame a second after she had it. She wishes Nora or Yang were here, they're much better at come backs.

"'A big meanie'? Really? This is why they shouldn't let middle schoolers into highschool! Your such a kid!"

Ruby is the same age as the freshmen."I might be a kid, but I'm smarter than you, Ice Queen!" And she just called herself a kid. Nice one.

"What did you just say?" Weiss has a problem with the nickname ice queen. She has no idea who started it, but now whenever she walks the walks other students whisper it. It's awful.

"You heard me!"

The whole class is watching their fight. It's was more interesting than the lab. Neon whispers to her partner, Flynt. "Looks like your girlfriend in trouble." The joke is Flynt hates Weiss and her stuck up family.

"Good job, goth girl." He responses. He has never met Ruby and doesn't even know her name. "Now that's a girl I can agree with."

"Paws off pal, I saw her first."

"Aren't you dating Reese?"

"Your point?" Flynt rolls his eyes at his friend. The girl's a player. He looks back at the two girls. Dr. Oobleck is telling them to go to the principle's office. "Awe, looks like the shows over." Dr. Oobleck is calling Ozpin to tell him the girls will join him soon.

Weiss stumps away. She is fully prepared to tell Ozpin that it was completely Ruby's fault. In her mind it was. Ruby is just praying it won't make her go back to her original grade. Or even worse, kindergarten. That probably won't happen but she as a big imagination. Now she's picturing herself in the tiny chairs.

Ozpin sits in his office drinking his coffee. He is a man who enjoys coffee a lot. Some student(I.e. Nora and Ruby) are convened he has his coffee mug glued to his hand because he is never seen without it. It's a nice quit morning and he is at total peace. Then Weiss slams his door open. He wants to say, "Goodbye quiet, my dear friend." Instead he says,"Ruby, Weiss, please have a seat."

The two sit in the chairs across from him. Weiss yells,"It was all Ruby's fault!" The same time Ruby begs,"Please, don't sent me to kindergarten!"

Ozpin looks at them firmly. "Nobody is going to kindergarten and it wasn't only one person's fault. Now, let's see if we can sort things out. Tell me why you began to disagree in the first place."

The two girls began to talk over each other. That began another fight. It's to early to deal with this. But Ozpin had faith that the girls will work things out in time. It might take a long time, but it will happen. Eventuality.

He cleared his throat and the girls stop. "I understand this isn't your first disagreement."The girls nod." This cannot continue. You girls are only a few years away from graduating and you need to stop acting like children. We need to find a solution, until then your free to go. I won't call your patents about this, but if it happens again, I'll be forced to."

The pair nod and hurry out. When leaving Ruby sees Blake inter the office. Weiss is also watching. "I hope everything is okay." She thinks aloud.

"From what Yang says about Blake, I can't image she's in trouble for anything. So don't worry." Ruby tells her.

"I hope your right." For a moment the girls are just quietly watching the door, side by side. Ruby thinks she's finally getting to Weiss. Then she turns away from Ruby and says,"I still blame you for this, just so you know." Weiss goes back to class.

Defeated Ruby says aloud. "Yea, I know." After Weiss is a good distance ahead of her she heads back to.
