The four girls talk in the parking lot as they wait for Qrow. He needs to hurry because all four of them have homework and aren't in a good mood. It's getting dark and remnant isn't pretty after dark. However, they make good progress with getting Ruby and Weiss to be friends, so that's a plus.

Now the girls are having a plesant conversion about school drama. Or as pleasant as it can be. Ruby, who isn't in the inner circle is sitting this one out. "Okay, but seriously, is Cocoa dating Fox or all they just friends?" Weiss asks now.

"Well," Yang begins."They were for sure making out at the football game a while back. Everyone saw it."

"Yea, but they could have just been drunk. You know how the seniors roll. That could have just been a slip up."

"Sure, but what about what happened at homecoming? That dance was no mistake." She referring to when Cocoa, who won homecoming queen, refused to dance with the king and danced with Fox instead.

"True. But if Cocoa was dating anyone, why would she hide it?" The two continued their debate while Ruby and Blake were dying of boredom. Blake is mentally kicking herself for not bringing a book and Ruby is certain the others are speaking a different language.

"Still, even if they were, which they probably are, it's not our business." Yang tells Weiss. She checks the time and sighs. "Where the heck is Qrow?"

"I don't know. None of the bars are open yet and he's band from the liquor stores. Are you sure we can't just call dad? It would be so much easier." Ruby points out to her sister.

"No we can't. Dad's busy with parent teacher conferences. Plus, this isn't a situation we want dad to be in. He'll totally freak out if he knew that Weiss' car got stolen." Yang doesn't mention the fact that she's grounded and she'll get in trouble if her dad knew she's at the mall.

"Right, I didn't think of that. He's worse with dealing with stuff than me and I go to therapy!" Ruby jokes. She doesn't really go to therapy, anymore.

"I wish he'd hurry up!" Weiss mumbles angrily. "I've got important stuff I need to do."

Blake rolls her eyes. Sometimes she really doesn't like Weiss."So do we, Weiss, and you don't hear us complaining like a spoi-" Blake doesn't finish. She's not in the mood for an argument.

"Excuse me? If you have a problem with me than just say it. Otherwise I suggest you shut up!" As soon as she finishes Weiss wishes she hadn't said it. It's been a long day and Weiss is tense. That still doesn't justifie starting a fight with her one of her best friends.

Before she can say sorry Blake stands up. "Fine, you wanna know what I think? I think you're just a spoiled little brat!" Weiss stares up at Blake with a blank face. Did Blake really just say that? As if she read Weiss' thoughts Blake says,"That's right, I said it!"

Weiss stands up as well. Her voice is ice as she says,"At least I'm not an ex gang member who shot people." Now it's Blake's turn to stare blankly." What? Did you really think nobody knew about that?"

Blake just laughs darkly. "Yea, I put that behind me. Your lifes only gonna go down from here, sweetie." She begins walking to the bus stop. Before she's too far she yells over her shoulder,"I'll see you twenty-five years from now at our highschool reunion when you're stuck in a loveless marriage and your only happiness comes from a wine bottle!"

"Blake, wait!" Yang calls after her. "She didn't mean it!" She yells to both Blake and Weiss. "Everyones just a little tense right now! We can work this out! Things can still be okay!" But Blake is too far away and Weiss just doesn't care.

"I'm just gonna call my sister and see if she can pick me up." Weiss steps away. "I'll see you later." She begins walking to the other side of the parking lot.

Yang  sits back down. "Well, Rubes, looks like it's just me and you." They sit in silence for a while until her phone beeps. "Oh, see things are already looking up. Qrow is pulling in right now."

"That's good." Ruby says. She feels really awkward after witnessing Blake and Yang fight. "You made sure to tell him we're not in Whitebird, right?"

Yang is quiet. "I'm gonna call him." She pulls out her phone and calls him. He answers right away. "Hey, Qrow, please tell me your not in Whitebird."

"Please tell me you two are." He says. "Well, I'm not gonna come all the way to the other freaking mall. I'm not your mom. Now, if you'll excuse me I have to drive home and make dinner. I'm thinking meat loaf, sound good?"

"Sure, that's fine. Go make meat loaf when your nieces are alone in a mall parking lot. No wonder you're not married."

"Sick burn, Sis." Ruby and Yang high five.

"Ow, my pride! Anyway you'll be fine, I'll text your dad to pick you up."

"Qrow! Dad can't know I'm at the mall! I'm grounded, remember?"

"Yea, I know. Shouldn't have insulted me, kido. Now, put your sister on the phone." Yang handed the phone to Ruby. "Hey, I heard you came out to your sister. How'd that go?"

"I wouldn't say 'came out'. It's more like  accidentally allowed her to know. It's a long story, I'll explain later. Anyway you should come pick us up, please?"

"I can't pick you up. Even if you asks, that's showing favoritism. Plus, I heard you compliment Yang on her dis on me. Your dad will be there soon." Qrow hangs up.

"Oh my gosh! He just hung up on me! That's so rude! I can't believe I made a friendship bracelet for that guy!" Ruby jokes, trying to lighten the mood.

Yang gives a little laugh. "Rubes, we should hang out more. I had fun today, for the most part."

"Yea, I so did I."
