Remnant City Au.

We all fall down. Well, somebody does.

When they finally make it to school they're ten minutes early. The two get out and are immediately greeted by Nora. The orange haired girl tackle hugs them both onto the pavement. "Hey guys! Good to see ya!" She sings.

Ruby says cheerfully,"You too!" While Jaune cries,"My spine!" She gets off the two and the girls help Jaune to his feet. "Was that really needed? A simple high-five would have worked!" He whines as the three walk away from his truck.

"Your just being a baby, Jaune. Ruby here is fine!" Nora motions to Ruby. The younger girl nods. Nora begins to talk on and on. She does that. She's telling a story about what her and Ren did last night. The other two have no idea what she's saying, they just smile and nod.

Speaking of Ren, he's sitting at the top stair of the school entrance reading a book. The day is nice and quiet. Its too quiet for his life. He looks to where his close friend was sitting. She's gone, just great. He lost Nora. He looks all around him. She's nowhere to be found. Sighing he gets up to look around more. Fellow students are hanging around waiting for school. That makes it harder for Ren to find his friend.

Among the groups of students are the "cool kids". They're called the cools kids, but really they're as lame as everyone else. The group consist of Yang, Blake, Weiss, Neptune, Sun, Sage, and Scarlet. The real queen of the school, Coco, and her group join them sometimes, but they're older and have better things to do. On the outside they seem on another level, but they're just normal people. Normal people who are beautiful.

Sage, Sun, and Neptune look like they're a boy band. Yang is smoking hot. Scarlet has that British charm. Blake is mysterious and beautiful. And Weiss is as pretty as a princess. Basically they're the hottest kids in school. Except for Coco, who is queen.

Sun and Neptune are now passing a football back and fourth. Blake is reading while trying to ignore Yang's bad puns. Scarlet and Sage are making out in Sage's backseat. Weiss is trying to get Neptune's attention. She's wearing a new dress and drinking black coffee.

As Ren walked passed them Neptune didn't catch Sun's pass. It hit Ren right in the face knocking him down. Everyone in the lot saw. Someone started singing whatcha say by Jason Derulo as he fell. That person was Yang. "Now is NOT the time, Yang!" Blake tells her as the group gathers around Ren.

"That was perfect timing!" She reasons. The girls couldn't see anything because other students were in the way. "Man I hope that guy isn't dead. Your boyfriend is too pretty to go to jail." Sun clearly likes Blake and Yang enjoys teasing her about. But Blake likes another person. But let's not get into that now.

Blake doesn't even bother correcting her. "I don't think he's dead. He might have a cracked skull from falling on the concrete, but he's not dead. Yet."

All of a sudden the group is pushed apart. A very angry Nora moves past. She's basically throwing people out of the way. Jaune and Ruby trail after her apologizing for their friend. Finally she makes it to Ren. She drops down to her knees and holds him in her arms. "NOOOOOO! HE WAS TOO YOUNG TO DIE! OH WHY GOD? WHYYYYY?" She's crying her eyes out.

"IT WAS MY FAULT! TAKE ME TO JAIL! I DESERVE TO ROT AFTER WHAT I DID!" Sun says as he also cries his eyes out. He's holding his wrist out to be handcuffed.

Neptune pops up next to him and does the same. "NO! IT WAS MY FAULT! TAKE ME INSTEAD!" The two began to argue over whose fault it actually was.

Jaune is crying on Ruby's shoulder. "If I could just hear his voice one last time." Now everybody is crying. All except for Blake and Weiss. Blake never cries and Weiss is just drinking her coffee like the cold hearted person she is.

Jaune's wish came true. "Um, guys, I'm fine." Everyone looks down at Ren, who isn't dead. He's totally fine and is just trying to pull away from Nora. "I was about to get up but you guys started crowding me." Ren is crazy about personal space. "So if you guys could back up." They did. Nora is still holding him. "You too Nora." She let's go. He stands up and brushes the dirt off his clothes. "Are we done now?"

Everyone goes back to what they were doing. Neptune and Sun stay back. "Sorry about hitting you, bro. We cool?" Sun asks him. Ren just walks away without a word. "Is that a 'no' or..."

Nora skips past them. "That's a 'if you ever talk to me again I'll jump kick your face off'." She sings happily. Jaune and Ruby awkwardly fallow after her. The four all gather up and walk into the building.

Neptune and Sun just stand there. "Man, those girls were cute. You think they were dating those guys?" Neptune thinks he's a ladies man, but he really isn't.

Yang, who over heard what he said, playfully punches his arm. "Dude one of them is my baby sister. She's, like, twelve." Ruby is actually Fourteen, but Yang still sees her as a little baby.

"No way she's twelve. I have honors math with her. And I had history with her last year."

"My sister happens to be a genius. She skipped most of middle school and the first year of highschool. Went straight to a sophomore." Yang loves bragging about Ruby. She wishes she had more time to spend with her.

"If she's been here since last year, why hasn't she been hanging out with us?" Sun asks. He's the kind of guy who wants to me friends with everyone.

"Me and Ruby don't get along." Weiss says to him. Truth be told, she hates her with every bit of her. Weiss can't say that,though. Yang gets really mad when Weiss says she dislikes her sister. Nobody wants Yang mad.

"Why? She seems cool."

"Can we just go into the building now?" Blake asks. " I have a test in fifteen minutes." They all nod and walk in.

All but Sage and Scarlet, who never left the backseat. Sage looks up and around for his friends. "Where did everyone go?" He was too busy making out with his girlfriend to see what happened with Ren.

"Who knows. Those blokes are always on the go, you know? Couple of bellends, I tell ya. They really drive me bonkers."

He looks down at his girlfriend. She's so cute when she goes angry Brit mode. "You know what? Who cares? Let's just hang out here for a while."

"So, love, what your saying is you just want to stay here and snog some more? Fine by me, I would much rather be here than learn about how you Americans boffed us over back in the day."

"I was thinking we could do more."

"You know, love, its better to go to first period!" She grabs his arm. "Good grades and what not!"

"Okay..." They walk into the building right when the bell rings.
