*Sydney's POV*
Leila doesn't pressure me with any other questions. I do not know how to feel about Tyler asking me out. Tyler hasn't noticed me.. Until Hunter, and it just does not make sense. He barely knows me. I felt sort of pressured to say yes. I don't want to think about it anymore.

When I arrive at the party, Tyler is searching the crowd of cars for me. He immediately runs over to me and envelopes me in a hug. He is stumbling a bit. I assume he has already had a bit to drink. I will not be drinking tonight, as I am the designated driver and I will be sleeping over at the Daniels' household. Which also has Hunter in it. I wonder if he will try to talk to me at the party or when I get back to his place. "Let's dance, Sydney!" He says, grabbing my hand and pulling me along with him. A fast paced song comes on and Tyler tries to dance with me. I am the worst dancer in the entire world, so I just follow his lead, which probably wasn't my best decision.

That's when I notice that Hunter's eyes are on me, beer in hand. Tyler takes notice, too. He scoffs. "So he lied.." He gave me one look and then leaned in, and his lips were on mine. And that's how Tyler stole my first kiss.

*Hunter's POV*
I don't know why I walked off the field during Tyler's Formal proposal. Something in my body just didn't feel right. I guess I got upset. She said yes. She said yes to Tyler, of all people. She has never dated anyone, and she immediately says yes to Tyler? But why did that bother me so much?
When Tyler came back into the Locker Room, he asked why I missed it. I simply shrugged. Not satisfied with my answer, he asked if I liked her. I literally yelled no. Then the coach told us that the game was about to begin and I was saved from further questioning.

I arrived at Tyler's party fashionably late. Tyler and Sydney are already on the dance floor. I almost didn't recognize her. She looks so beautiful, more than usual. I can't describe it. I grab a beer, while keeping my eyes on her.

Shyly, she returns my glance. I crack a smile. Tyler begins to notice as well. He glares at me, as if telling me to back off. Then he kisses her, probably just to make me angry. I'm surprised I didn't punch him in that moment. I chugged an entire 3 beers. How could he steal her first kiss? He knows that she has never had one, and he went to do it anyways. He couldn't care less about her, and that made me angry. They began to dance again. It made my blood boil. Someone shouts, "Truth or Date by the pool, everyone!"

I grab another beer and head to the pool. That son of a gun had the balls to put his arm around her. She had a look of discomfort. Was it because she just want used to this kind of touch, or did she just not want it from him? This will not stand. I take a seat on the other side of Sydney. It's like she is waiting for me to speak. So I do, "Looks like you've been kissed and dated all in one night. Guess I can't call you 'Delicate Flower' anyone. Might as well shorten it up to 'Flower' now." My words slur, and she takes notice to it. "How many beers have you had, Hunter?" She says, skeptically. I count in my head. I hold up five fingers. She face palms. Literally face palms. Oops.

*Sydney's POV*
Why did this boy have to go and get so drunk? Now when I take Leila home, I'm going to have to help the baby, too. I lost Leila in the crowds a while ago. I see her across the pool, next to Jack, them cracking up with each other, but not romantically, so I guess she didn't make a move yet, and neither did he. I stand up, and release myself from Tyler's grip. He seems upset by it. I grab a bottled water off the table and give it to Hunter. He thanks me, but it comes out strange. This is why I don't condone drinking, people!

Then Truth or Dare begins. "Tyler, truth or dare?" Some random chick I've never seen before pipes up. "Truth...?" He says. "How many girls have you been with?" She says, as she winks at me. She wanted me to know. I silently thank her. "Um.. That's sort of private.." He mumbles. "Oh this should be good." Hunter says. "I don't really think I shou-" "46, and counting." Hunter interrupts. People begin to laugh and look at me. My face heats up. How embarrassing.

Tyler asks Hunter next, "Hunter, truth or dare?" "Dare!" He yells. "Kiss the girl in the room who you find to be the prettiest." Tyler says, challenging. I'm interested to see who this will be. All the girls pray that it'll be them. And then he does the least expected thing. He turns to me and cups my face. "I apologize." He simply says. What?? He simply kisses me on the cheek and I am thankful for just that. I did not want to kiss another person tonight. Tyler looks very angry. His face is super red. Well, he didn't expect that. Tyler stands up, and so does Hunter. Tyler pushes him, fully clothed, into the freezing pool. He is so drunk out of his mind that he doesn't even realize it. Leila jumps in after him and helps him up with Jack's help. Leila hands him to Jack to sit him down, as she rushes over to Tyler. "What the hell, Tyler!! Touch my brother again, and you'll no longer be able to have 46 and counting." She shouts.

I rush over to my friends and Hunter, leaving Tyler behind. "Is he okay?" I question. "He will live. I need to get him home, but I've been drinking and I don't want you guys to have to leave early-" "It's okay. I'm sleeping over anyways, and I'm over this party. I'll drive. Bye Jack." I say. Jack waves and walks away. Leila drags Hunter up. "How did he manage to get this drunk?" Leila blurts. "SYDNEY!!" Tyler screams. I ignore him and leave with Leila. Luckily, Tyler doesn't have my number, so he cannot text me. I don't know what to do about him. Hunter only kissed me on cheek.... because he thought I was the prettiest girl... Why me? And why did Tyler get so mad? I am so utterly confused. I think I might break up with Tyler. I knew I could not handle this kind of thing, which is why I was never asked out. Well that and Jared.

When we arrive at the Daniels' household, Leila is fast asleep. "Leila wake up. Let's get you to bed." I say, shaking her shoulder. "I'll get Hunter. Just go to your bed. I'll meet you in there in a minute." I say. She mutters a quick, "Thanks," and trudges up the stairs.

"Hunter. This would be a lot easier of you were awake!!" I yell into his ear. He almost hits me, but then he sees that it's me. "Sorry, Flower." He slurs. I almost laugh. I put my arm under his shoulder and help him up. We slowly walk up the stairs to his room. That was probably the most physical activity I've done all year. And it's December.

I slowly lower him onto his bed and he drags me down with him. "Hunter!" I screech. "What, Flower? You cannot deny that you are comfortable beside me." His body radiates heat onto me. He is right. He pulls him arm over my body, pulling me closer to him. I decide not to fight him. "Don't worry, Flower, I won't judge if you snuggle me back." He says. Does he have to do that? My heart flips. What the...? Purely for warmth, I snuggle into him. He kisses my cheek. "Night, Flower." He says. In that brief moment of silence, I pick my nickname for him. "Goodnight Hunt," and I can feel him smiling.
