*Hunter's POV*
I am not going to lie. I am highly attracted to nerdy, cute girls. It's something I would usually never admit out loud, but in my mind, I am safe to feel however I want. "So.. Sydney, how are we going to do this?" I say, after a few moments of silence. "Well, I will come over after school a few days of the week. Only a few days, because other days I have drama rehearsal and Math club." She replies, speaking about when we will study. I would not mind seeing her a few times a week. Sydney has a reputation. She is a good-girl. She is in a lot of extra-curricular activities. She is very smart. She can notice anything in an amount of seconds.

Abruptly, she grabs my face and turns it towards her. I am debating on teasing her. I want to develop a friendship with this girl, but I do not want her to see me as a cocky guy who thinks he can get any girl in the entire school. "If you wanted to kiss me, you could have asked." She pulls away. "No-Hey.. You wear contacts don't you?" WHAT? HOW DID SHE FIND OUT?! I realize I said that aloud. "It's obvious. There's a shine in your eye. But the real question is, are your eyes really blue?" She says. "Yes, of course. It's my number one attractive quality." I reply. "You list your qualities?" "Don't you?" I say, a smile playing on my lips. "Well, I am not conceited, so nope." She says. "Funny. Leila says the same thing." "I understand why." She says.

"Can we get one thing right before we begin this study partner thing?" She asks. "Sure." I say, smirking. "Well, just know this. We are not friends. We are not going to ever be friends. Also, don't try anything. Okay?" She says. "Also, wear glasses." Then she leaves my room. We shall see about that, won't we, Sydney. But why doesn't she like me?
