you woke up feeling pain in your head from too much cryings. you woke up as you saw your surroundings.

You were still in bed and you were still half awake. But as soon as you heard a sniffle, you got up.

You saw Kaia who sat next to you... sobbing?

She haven't realized that you had woken up, so you moved closer next to her

"hey, what's wrong baby Kai?"

she lifted her head when she heard your voice
"-oh hey you're awake"

her eyes were red and puffy. you hated seeing her cry.

"what's wrong?" you rubbed your eyes
"tell me what's wrong"

she just smiled
"it's okay- there's nothing wrong"

you sighed
"is this about last night?"

"no- it isn't okay? everything's fine" she said

you looked at her fingers, it was fidgeting. she did that when she lied

"it's not okay- stop lying to me Kaia" she said
"Kaia, please just talk to me-"

she just shook her head
"there's nothing to talk about"

beep beep

your phone rang and you looked at the called ID. It was your dad.

"hey honey" he sounded excited
"hi dad" you tried to sound fun although you were tired
"I was just checking- when will you be back here in LA?"
"uhh, in 3 days I guess?" you said not really counting days
"anyway, Kaia's parents called me asking about what you two had been up to" he said

you looked over at Kaia who was listening since you put it on speaker
"hey Mr. Y/L/N"

you smiled
"we're fine dad- we just had a couple of more stuff to do here in Paris that's all"

"I see... anyway, I miss you sweetie"
"I miss you too dad- I'll be back soon" you said to him
"alright see ya kiddo"

you ended the phone call.

"so... what are up to today?" Kaia asked

You ended up bringing Kaia to one of your favorite place in Paris.

the place where you lock your locks of love as you put your name and your lover's name and lock it. You could also put your hopes and dreams there.

"you seriously brought me here" Kaia commented

"I had to" you smiled at her
"I don't bring any padlocks" she said
"I brought us 2" you told her

so she took one of the padlock. before she could write anything, you took her hand.

"Kaia, I want you to write what you always wanted in this world okay? not just only about love, but your dreams or anything that you always wanted" you said to her
