Dan's POV
I've made so many mistakes in my past. All of them involving me not taking relationships seriously and not appreciating my partner.
But Phil.
He was different. He's something I've never had. I've never had someone as amazing and loving as Phil. He's very understanding and knows my good and bad sides but he somehow manages to always see my good side. I promised I wouldn't fuck it up like I have in the past. I wanted Phil to be mine forever.
He brought comfort to my life. He has changed me in so many ways that I thought I would never change. I just thought they were parts of me that I had to live with. He's also such an optimistic person which I have slowly turned into as well.
Being around him always puts a smile on my face. I want to be with him for the rest of my life. I want to treat him as best as I could because he deserves all god damn happiness in the world.
