Chapter 14

There was a black box on top of everything else in the bag. You looked at Calvin and he was just smiling. You picked up the small box and opened it feeling excited. Inside there was a beautiful bracelet. It was pretty much like the friendship bracelets made of thread that you would have when you were younger- but regardless, you loved it. It was a dark blue with a little bit of pink in it. You put it on.
"Did you get me this?" You smiled at Calvin and he nodded. He then pulled up his sleeve and he had the same bracelet.
"This is cringey as shit but whatever."
"No I love it" you laughed.
"It's to represent our love for each other" he said in a squeaky voice as if he was mocking someone. You then proceeded to eat your fucking delicious McDonald's pancakes.

~~a few hours later~~

You arrived at the police station and went into a private room with the same investigator as yesterday.
"So, guys. Do you have any idea who this is?" The investigator asked showing you a picture. You and Calvin looked at each other straight away looking pretty shocked.
"So it seems like this is a white male, his name is Jack Williams (I just made that name up btw), he's 25 and he's from Cedar city. Apparently he's approached and tried to rape a few girls, the most recent was around a month ago. Anything seem familiar to you?" You and Calvin were both so shocked.
"Yeah. It- it all sounds familiar. I know exactly who this is. I used to live in Cedar city. I'm the girl he last tried to rape, until luckily, Calvin found me."
"So uhh do you think this is the guy that did it?" Calvin asked
"Well he matched the fingerprints on the note so unless he's just the one that left it on your car, then yes, this is him. We'll locate him, get him in here for an interview and then get back to you guys in a few days. Take care"

You then got into your car and you both just sat there. In silence. For like 5 minutes. Until Calvin broke the silence...
"Uhh is it ok if I stay up like all fucking night again and play CSGO cause that is the shit!" You closed your eyes and breathed in
"Just fucking drive you douchebag" he laughed and drove back home. While driving home you plugged in the AUX cord and starting playing "bring me to life" (aka wake me up) to take your mind off things. Calvin started laughing and then you both started screaming "WAKE ME UP!"
