Chapter 29

After a couple more days in the hospital you were finally allowed out although you still had to rest for like another week. When you got home you called your mum and told her you were fine and everything was OK etc.
You felt pretty exhausted from the drugs you'd been given at the hospital so you decided to go up to your room and just watch some Netflix. Calvin came upstairs and brought you a sandwich and a glass of water then headed out to meet some friends.

After like an hour you were getting really bored and cal was still out so you decided to just go on a drive to the top of the mountains, y'know just for some peace and quiet.
You got into your car, plugged in the aux to your phone and drove to the mountains.
When you got there you got out of your car and carefully sat at the edge.
The landscape was beautiful. It was night time so you could see all the city lights, car lights and buildings. You smiled to yourself and just stared at the city for a while.
You continued to stare for about 5 minutes when you got a phone call from Calvin. You picked up immediately.
"Hey girl" he said. You could sense him smiling through the phone which made you smile too
"Hey."
"Yo, I'm not worried I know you're up In the mountains, thinking of me"
"What? How do you know where I am?" You asked, but when there was no reply you looked at your phone to see that he'd hung up.
"Cause I've been watching and listening. I knew you'd be here right when I noticed your car was gone." You looked up and there was Calvin carefully sitting down next to you. He put his arm round your shoulder and looked out at the city below you.
"Yo y/n I'm about to say probably some of the crigngiest shit ever but just- just don't talk okay" Calvin said. You nodded.

"Right. so. The first time I ever watched one of your videos and seen your face, I literally felt so like- weird inside ya know? But a good weird! And I heard your voice and I was like holy shit her voice is so soft. And I watched more of your videos like nearly everyday and I knew that I like.. Loved you and that was like a fuckin year ago. So if you think about it, we've only been goin out for a few months but honestly these have been THE BEST 'few months' of my fucking life and honestly I don't see us breaking up or anything so-"
Calvin looked down and smiled to himself. He then stood up and looked at his surroundings nervously. He then sighed an anxious- but happy sigh.
"Ok look I know this is crazy but y/n..." He reached into his pocket but you couldn't see what it was until he got down on one knee and said-
"Y/n. You're the only I've always wanted I love you so much will you marry me?" He then opened the box to reveal a shiny silver ring. You put your hand over your mouth in shock and tears started flooding your eyes and slowly falling down your cheeks.
"Calvin this is all so sudden" you looked at him then looked at the ring then back at him.

'Was this too soon to be getting engaged? I mean he was right, you couldn't see an ending to this relationship either but is this too quick for you two?' You thought
