It was the day. The day Katelyn and Kawaii-chan could get to the video. (By this time, Katelyn had a whole TREASURY of videos of Zane being chased around by Vyas... She would never let him live this down.)

Katelyn actually came out of her room to help prepare, surprising everyone - she hadn't been out of her room for more than five or six minutes at a time since the... 'break-up.'

"How can I help?" Katelyn asked, tapping her fingers.

"Go make out with Zane. I MEANT MAKE UP! MAKE UP!" Aphmau yelped,  almost dropping the bag of flour. "MAKE UP! Though... If you wanna... I won't stop you!"

Kawaii-chan was doubled over in a fit of laughter, but Katelyn was just staring at the table very intensely, flushed red. She decided to go look for sugar, and just crouched behind the cabinet door for a short while.

"Got the sugar," she said, trying to regain her dignity. Kawaii-chan snickered. NOT. HELPING. Katelyn added, "What else do we need?"

"Well, we need, hmm," Aphmau said, trailing off. "Oh! Milk, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, eggs, and baking powder of course! Butter, too! And-"

     "Aphmau?" someone called, knocking.

"Aaron!" Aphmau squealed, and went to open the front door.

"Milk, chocolate chips, cocoa powder...," Katelyn listed, grabbing them out of the fridge or cabinet. "Eggs, baking powder, butter, and... Wait. Did she say, 'and Aaron?' Why would we need Aaron? Where IS Aphmau?"

"No, Aphmau-senpai went to open the door for him," Kawaii-chan giggled. Her ship. And Katelyn's misconceptions. "Nyah! Kawaii-chan knows the rest of the ingredients, Katelyn-sama! Don't worry!"

"Good, I'll just go upstairs then," Katelyn grumbled, folding her arms and glaring at the wall. Stupid ships that could happen without interference. Sigh.

"No, stay," Kawaii-chan said, still giggling slightly. She was so giggly, Katelyn was tempted to ask her whether or not she was high on butterbeer. Or like, glitter. Or sugar. Or whatever Kawaii-chan ate to keep such hyperactivity bubbling out of her constantly.

"Well, what do I do here?" Katelyn asked, examining her phone, and looking through her Wattpad reading lists.

"Get rid of the video," someone hissed next to her. Zane, scowling like the Pony Prince of Pure Evil, stood next to Katelyn, startling her and making her jump.

"What- When did you?" sputtered Katelyn, making Zane smirk. Katelyn slapped his arm. He scowled again and jerked a thumb toward Aaron.

"When that guy arrived, so did I!" Zane explained. He snickered, and said, "He's been hanging out with me a bit more... He can scare away Vyas!"

"Whoa, really?" Katelyn asked, impressed. It took quite a bit to convince (read: THREATEN) Vyas to go away. Then again, all Aaron had to do was call on his high school persona with anger issues... Katelyn could relate.

"Yeah," Zane agreed, smirking slightly. Then he frowned, "Every time I smile Vyas seems to come out of nowhere."

"Smile!" Katelyn demanded, a smile twitching at the edges of her own mouth. "Please, come on Zane! For our ship."

"No," Zane said. Katelyn lunged forward, trying to tickle him, and Zane frantically protested, "FINE! FINE! JUST DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH ME, KATELYN!"

"Aw, do I scare you THAT much?" Katelyn teased. She planted her hands on her hip. "Do it!"

"Alright, alright!" Zane said, trying to pacify her. He did the thumb-index finger thing and gave Katelyn a bright smile. Then he shut himself back in and scowled again. "Happy? I hate smiling, you know."
