*3 months later*

"TAISSA FARMIGA OPEN THE DOOR THIS INSTANT!!!" I hear shouting from the front door and rush from making my bowl of cereal to see what the fuss is about. I know it's Evan, but the reasoning behind his shouting is still unknown to me. I quickly put the lid on the milk carton and speed walk through the lounge to get to the front door. I swing it open and I'm face to face with Evan and his cheesy grin and wide eyes.

"What's the deal?" I ask squinting my eyes at how bright the sun is and remembering it's still only 9:30 in the morning on a Saturday. Filming for Murder House ended about a month ago and I have definitely been enjoying being able to relax at home without having to leave the house.

"You're kidding, right?" he looks genuinely shock but all I do is raise an eyebrow and wait for him to explain. "You mean you seriously didn't hear?" He starts to get louder again.

"Hear about what? Ev, it's too early for this." I say grumpily but still with a smile on my face.

"It's the fair! We have to go! It'll only be here for 4 nights. The weather will be perfect, neither of us are busy, and it's been too long since we've gone out together." He says as his eyes grow brighter by the second.

"What do you mean, neither of us are busy? How do you know I don't have plans for tonight?" I say, trying to sound offended but it only comes off jokingly.

"Oh really? You're planning to do something other than lay around all day? Who are you and what have you done with my girlfriend?" He gets dramatic and pretends to actually be worried, which only makes my laugh harder.

"Okay, fine. We can go. It can't be THAT bad. It could be fun." I say casually opening the door more for him to come inside. He walks to the couch, sits, and after shutting the door, I walk over to join him.

"It COULD be fun? What's wrong with the fair?" he asks as he grabs a pillow to hold to his chest, looking like a little kid watching their first scary movie.

"I mean, they're okay. Just not exactly at the top of the list of things I enjoy doing, that's all."

"What's wrong with you?!" he shouts dramatically while playfully hitting me with the pillow, his adorable dimples getting bigger the harder he smiles at me.

"I just have bad memories of the fair. Or one in particular, I guess." I start to explain.

"Well, are you gonna tell me?" He asks. I roll my eyes and try to sum it up as best as I can.

"I went when I was about 10, and I was having a ton of fun with my siblings. But the very last ride we got on broke down while we were on it, and we were stuck at the very top of it for almost 2 hours waiting for the firemen and technicians to get everything worked out." I wait for his response.

"Whoa. That IS rough." he says a bit more seriously.

"Yeah. It was."

After a small pause he speaks a bit quieter. "We don't HAVE to go, if you don't want to. We'll have fun no matter where we go, as long as we're together." He gives a sweet smile.

"No, no it's fine. I'll get over it." I say, knowing he was really looking forward to going.

"Are you sure?" I nod and he get's excited almost immediately. "I'll make sure you have a good time, to completely forget the last time you were there." I give him a smile and a kiss to thank him for being such an amazing person.
