We had finally left Fred and George's shop, after Ron had spent ten galleons on this exploding drum. We slowly make our way towards the Leaky Cauldron to eat.
I could hear my stomach grumbling louder with each step we took towards the pub. I cross my arms over my stomach to try and block out the noise, which only caused Hermione to laugh at me. I stick my tongue out at her, giving her a smile as we finally reach the pub.
We walk in and take our usual spot near the back. Hermione walks up and orders us a round of Butterbeers. When she returns, I down half my glass. Shortly after, Hermione had finished her glass along side mine. I could feel the alcoholic beverage taking its toll when my brain became slightly foggy.
I bite my lip, giggling softly before looking around the table. Hermione seemed to be in a conversation with Harry about classes and teachers this term. Ron seemed lost in space. When I glance down at his cup, I see it's finished off as well. I quickly glance to Harry's cup, which seems like it's only had one sip taken from it.
I try to stop the words from toppling out of my mouth, but fail miserably. "Harry..." I pause as everyone around the table look to me. "You didn't finish your drink. You feeling alright?" I look up from his glass to him when Cedric Diggory comes over, pulling up a chair for himself.
By his side was Cho Chang. Apparently they got together at the end of last year, and have been conjoined at the hip ever since. Cho's a lovely girl. From what I've heard from Ginny and Hermione, apparently Harry had the hots for her way back when. According to Hermione, that was until he met me.
"Hey guys!" Cedric greets, taking a seat in his chair. Cho takes the seat beside him, smiling to everyone. "Hello Cedric" Everyone says at their own time, mine being last. I look to Cho, giving her a warm smile and a soft hello, before looking back to Cedric.
Ron left the table but came back shortly after with another round of butterbeers in his hand. I smile, thanking him, as I take mine, taking a drink of it. Not long after, Ginny came in, Dean Thomas close behind her.
The pair of them have been extremely close lately, which worried me. I love Ginny, but I care about Harry. I don't want to see him get his heart broke. I watch as Harry looks over his glasses, watching the two of them as they join our group.
Ginny sits beside Cho, Dean taking the seat beside her. I glance to Harry as everyone continues talking about random events this year. Harry's eyes glance between the pair of them, before looking down at his glass.
I look to Hermione as she talks to Cho about her and Cedric. "Oh, it's nothing to serious" The quiet girl says, a small blush creeping on her pale cheeks. "Nothing but just a few snogs in the broom cupboard" Ginny says, causing us girls to giggle. I watch as Harry's eyes look up, as he watches everyone.
"What, you going to kiss and tell?" Dean says, nudging Ginny. That's when my eyes shot back to Harry. Harry continues looking at Ginny, before to Dean. "Harry... He didn't mean... Harry!"
Before the blink of an eye, Harry had jumped across the table and now sat on Dean's torso. Both his knees were on either side of Dean, and his fists were colliding with his face. Hermione screamed, as Ron and Cedric tried to pull Harry off Dean. Ginny was a sobbing mess, and I had my arms wrapped around her shoulders in a comforting manor. Cho sat there, looking adtonished at everything going on. Astonished and completely mortified.
After a few more swings, Harry was finally pulled off Dean. Harry goes to turn around when Dean jumps up, and grabs Harry by the back of the shirt. Harry spins around, his face colliding with Dean's fist. Harry staggers back, holding his lip, as two buff guys walk over, escorting Dean out. Ginny was quick to follow after them, murmuring a soft "I'm sorry" to all of us as she passed.
