"Hi... Zane right? Is there anything I could help you with?"
"Uh- Y-yea, I just came to get Garroth and Vylad..." He sounded pretty shy
"Oh, okay! Well they're both sleeping but I guess you can come in and get them." I gave him a smile and him seemed to blush? I'm not sure because he had this face cover-thing covering most of his face. I let him in and he thanked me, I closed the door and started to walk (D/n) to the park. Once we got there (D/n) seemed to enjoy all the open field. I got bored of just standing there so I found a bench at sat there watching (D/n) and thinking. Thinking about the guys... Do they like me? All of them? Do I like them too? I just don't get it, why does love have to be so confusing... I let out a sigh and got up again, I found a playground and decided to go on it, yes I know I'm in High school but I am still a kid at heart. I only went in the swing, and almost fell off well, because someone decided to sneak up on me and push me on the swing which happened to scare me. I turned around to see a blue-haired boy, Dante.
"D-dante! Why are you out and how did you find me? I thought everyone was sleeping."
"Nah, everyone's awake, well at least now they are, Zane kinda tripped and fell which made everyone wake up."
"Oh I see, well wanna go back and maybe make breakfast with me, I guess I am getting kinda hungry!"
"That... That actually sounds pretty good (Y/n). I didn't know you could cook." Dante and I then started walking back. It was funny because (D/n) kept attacking Dante's leg. We finally got to Aph's to see everyone was watching a TV show, (F/TV), Why?!?!? I asked Aph if it was okay but instead she said to ask her mom instead. I found Aph's mom, she was actually really nice, she said I could make breakfast. I went back to Dante and we started making pancakes, eggs, and even some bacon. Once Dante and I were done he set the table while I washed the dishes, Aphmau's mom was actually nice enough to offer to clean but I told her it was the least I could do.
"Wow, (Y/n) that smells good!" Garroth exclaimed
"Yeah it really does." Aaron added with a smirk
"It's really nothing guys! I love to cook. Also Dante helped me." I said while pointing to Dante "Now just dig in, I'll be out in a bit."
"(Y/n)! I insist that you let me finish the dishes!" Aphmau's mom said
"It's fine Aphmau's mom! It's part of cooking! I learned that from my mothe-" I stopped my sentence as I remembered her. I stayed silent trying to get the thoughts of my mother out of my head but they wouldn't leave. I felt everybody staring at me now... I looked up to see faces looking at me with slight sadness, all I did was smile and say I was fine. Obviously they knew I wasn't. Once I finished I sat down, everyone still staring at me. Someone finally broke the awkward silence...
"Hey, (Y/n)... Maybe we could go to your house today? Hehehe...." I looked up from my plate to see Laurance asked
"Sure! I'd be okay with that actually..." I looked back at my food "If you don't mind I'd like to do something before we go to my place. Would that be okay?" Everyone just shook their head and continued eating, there was still an awkward silence.... It was kinda nice though.
We finally finished our breakfast and I headed to a flower shop.
"Why are we here (Y/n)?" A confused Lucinda said
"Oh, well you see everyday I get my mother's favourite flowers and bring some to her grave and some to our house where there is a shrine dedicated to her." I answered turning around to face Lucinda with a smile.
"Oh, I see. Sorry if my question offended you..."
"Aw, no Lucinda don't worry! You didn't know about my mother, well none of you do so I don't mind if you guys ask questions about her!" I started to walk to the cemetery and got quite a few questions from my friends, the funny thing is they always apologized and worried that it offended me. I always just looked at whoever and asked the question, smiled at them and said 'it's fine' every time. There was one question that tugged at my memories though...
"Sooo, (Y/n)~Senpai. If you don't mind me asking, how did you mother die?" Asked a curious Kawaii~Chan
"I-i.... To be honest Kawaii~Chan... Ya'know what? I'll tell you when we get to my place. There's kinda a story that goes with it and it's quite long."
"Oh, Kawaii~Chan sees.." After that no one asked anymore questions once we went to my mother's grave and went to my place. I figured that my 'dad' wouldn't be home now, so I figured why not let them visit my place? Before we went into my place everyone got their stuff from Aph's and I walked in my house waiting for everyone to come in.
Everyone finally arrived for some reason with shocked faces, I only assumed that they were shocked because it was so clean... Well for the most part. Everyone sat on the couch's in our living room, I on the other hand sat on the coffee table since it was in between all the couch's... That when I started my story, it was pretty tough to start off at first since bringing up all those memories also brought up tears. Everyone comforted me and told me it would be okay... I believed them, well they were my friends after all, what would be the point in having them if you couldn't trust them right...?
