Webster the Spider and A Dip on the Lake pt. 2

"You cretins better find him!!" She yelled for the nth while the twins infront of her were trying not to anger the young Slytherin.

"She's scary."

"Yeah, I feel like we're back at home with mum."

"Shut up and look for Webster!!"

Loui who was drenched and soaked to her bones, searched from the lake to the woods behind her, in case Webster climbed down from her shoulder.

The twins were forced to search with her, their clothes and hair were dried from the chill air. It was almost sunset and near dinner when the twins escaped Loui's wrath.

Loui, even though she was in rage because of the twins, she let them escape by acting busy over the trees. She didn't knew what possessed her but she just wanted to find the tarantula, obviously Fred and George weren't searching hard, they just keep on talking about how scary she is and began comparing her to their mum.

Once they were gone, she walked and search every corner of the Black Lake, when she once saw something floating on the lake, she forgot that she was a witch and dove on the waters again only to retrieve a dry leaf.

It was already sunset, Loui who was already exhausted from searching, sat on the tree where she was earlier. Her legs folded to her chest, her arms rested on her knees while her chin beneath her arms.

She already felt cold but she can't sleep. Her eyes started to water, she remembers her past when she also lost her rabbit.

When Loui was 7 years of age, her mother Ursula got her an albino rabbit. Months had passed, Loui didn't noticed her rabbit ran outside the manor towards the forest. She was distraught when she noticed that the rabbit was gone and went to search for it, but Ursula forbid her to search the woods and went alone.

The next day, a body of witch, shredded was found deep in the forest clutching an injured white rabbit. The wound was caused by claws of a werewolf and the rabbit died shortly after it was discovered.

"You ought to go inside now." A calm voice said from her left. Loui turned and saw Fred's concerned face.

She snapped her head to the other direction and sloppily wiped some of her tears, "What do you want? Throw me on the lake again?"

"Your such a bitch aren't you?" Loui looked at Fred and saw him smiling. "I just said you need to go inside now, the feast is about to start."

Loui scowled more and looked away, "I don't want to."

"Don't be stubborn Loui." Fred groaned.

"I'm not being stubborn."

"And I hate pranking people." This made Loui look at Fred's irritated face and roll her eyes.

But she was suddenly tugged on her arm, pulling her up, "Hey!"

"Stop being sassy, alright? It's freezing out here." He huffed and pulled her towards the castle. They walked with Fred's right hand on her left wrist. His clothes were already dry but her's is still damp due to her second dive earlier.

The chilly cold air lifted and warmth suddenly surrounded her as they walk, quite cliche, but Loui felt safe warm blood run on her cheeks along her stomach flipped inside. She gasped and quickly removed her hand from his.

Fred only stared at her before shrugging and walk ahead.

The air escaping her lips felt cold and she was having a hard time to breath when they reached outside the Great Hall, "We're here, let's get inside." Fred said and was about to pull the small entrance on the big doors of the Hall.

"What are you waiting for?" He asked but he wasn't given a remark, worried, Fred walked away from the doors to the frozen Loui who looked pale and freezing at her spot.

"Loui?" Fred asked as he reached five inches from the girl.

"Loui?" He called again. Fred grabbed her wrist to snap her from her own thoughts but- "Your burning!" He yelled as he held her wrist tighter. "Quick, we must better get you to the Hos-" On the middle of his sentence, the poor young lady collapsed, only to be caught by Fred with his fast reflexes he developed over his years on playing Quidditch.

Loui woke up to find herself on the white Hospital Wing, she tried to sit up but her head throbbed which made her yelp, collapsed on her bed and held her head. Her grey eyes adjusting at the white curtains.

Quicker than 5 seconds, Madam Pomfrey came rushing to her aid. "What's wrong dear?"

Loui opened her mouth and said; "My head hurts." Her voice was hoarse and she felt like her throat was dry and itchy.

"Oh not to worry dear, I expected that would happen." The mediwitch said and went to her bedside table, grabbing 2 cups. "This one's for your head ache and the other is for your throat."

"Thank you." She replied with the same hoarse voice after drinking the tonics.

"Oh you're welcome dear-" The mediwitch's sentence was abruptly halted by continuous series of rough coughs from the other bed.

"Wait a minute." She excused and opened the curtains on Loui's right to find the Weasley twin, George. Wearing his pair of fading pajamas, he looked pale, still coughing.

"Drink your potion again Weasley." The mediwitch assisted him to drink, he looked weak and fragile as he tried to sit on his bed but failed.

When he drank the potion, he stop coughing and went to sleep again. Madam Pomfrey tucked him in his bed, went beside Loui, closed the curtain and continued mixing different potions on her bedside table.

"Consider yourself lucky Miss Nostrade, you could have invited a serious cold in your system if you weren't carried all the way through here by Mister Weasley. That boy is sometimes helpful." She said, not looking at Loui.

"Who's Weasley?" This made Madam Pomfrey stop from stirring a small cauldron and look at Loui's grey eyes.

"You don't remember?"

Loui shook her head, the last time she remember was Fred holding her wrist but removed it quickly from his hold.

"You see dear, George was confined here earlier just before the dinner. You arrived here with Fred carrying you, it's quite a sight. I never expected him to carry someone all through the way here." Madam Pomfrey said as she walked to the other side of her bed and opened the curtain.

It was Fred, sleeping quietly on the white bed, his face was on her direction. He looked so innocent and irresistible, so opposite to his face when he is wide awake.

"Surprisingly, he too have fever and collapsed once he laid you down on this bed. Carrying you all the way here is the last thing I expect him to do." Madam Pomfrey said with a smile, tying the curtain at the end.
