Second Quidditch Match
For the past weeks, Fred and George were tailing her. It took several days for Loui and Ron to talk to each other, with the persuasion of Hermione, Harry and the twins.
But now, Loui Nostrade of Slytherin had noticed every afternoon, the twins weren't following her anymore. She lowered the book in her hand and massaged her temple.
Why does she search for their entertainment? She leaned on her left hand and closed her eyes to calm her mind but then opened them and looked behind her only to see nothing but books, she tried not to think about the two and buried herself to the tomes in front of her but every moment of silence made her itch to look around. This isn't good.
With a sigh, she closed her book and got up from the secluded part of library to her dormitory.
She isn't used to silence anymore.
✨
Boredom has struck her the next morning, her dorm mates(both Pansy and Millicent) were avoiding her because of the past incident while she avoided Draco who kept on insulting Harry, Ron and Neville.
Dressed in her black school skirt, white long sleeves under her grey Weasley jumper (which had taken her liking) and black school shoes with white knee socks, she skipped to the Great Hall.
Upon entering the doors, Loui regretted the fact that she woke up late. The noise made her want to run away and lock herself in a broom closet, each houses were already betting who would win between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff.
"Oi Loui!" George lunged at her.
"George, get your hands off of me!" She grunted and tried to get herself out of George's arms.
"Nu uh. Never gonna happen." George teased and tightened his wrap. Loui gave up then rolled her eyes and tried to look for Hermione and Ron with George's arms wrapped around her neck.
Her eyes searched everywhere for the three before landing on the direction of a group of canary yellow robes, "Not this year Ced, it's still my time to play... Next year, you're going to be our super seeker!" An older boy cheered with his hand ruffling the boy's brown locks who seemed a year or two younger.
"Loui! Didn't expected you liked my Georgie." The familiar voice made the girl turn around and saw Fred jogging to their direction, smiling like he is knew how to quietly rob Gringgots.
She rolled her grey eyes and huffed, knowing that Fred would bring madness in her world.
✨
"Blimey, even Dumbledore's watching." Neville mumbled nervously. "I hope Harry could win."
"Of course he would. He's the best seeker in Hogwarts history aside my brother Charlie." Ron said as they walked to their place in the stand. "And- blimey! I've never seen Snape look so mean." He said while looking at the pitch, "Look -they're off- Ouch!" Someone had poked him in the back of his head.
It was Malfoy both Hermione and Loui raised their brow, "Oh, sorry, Weasley, didn't see you there." Malfoy grinned broadly at Crabbe and Goyle.
Loui opened her mouth but Hermione placed her hand over it, "Don't, you'll join an idiotic fight if you do." The auburn groaned internally, she huffed and glared at Hermione, who glared back at her as well.
Muggles, so full of themselves, she bit her tongue before rolling her eyes and unwillingly followed the bushy haired. She was now looking at the field, red versus yellow.
Her eyes wandered at the loud shouting of the badgers. Their tribune was full of posters and crackers. Through the sea of young witches and wizards, her eyes saw the handsome boy earlier in the Great Hall, he was smiling and laughing along with his friends but one of them stood out, a boy with sleek black hair and handsome face.
This made Loui lean more at the railing to get a closer look of him, he looks familiar, it's as if she know him. As if on cue, the boy turned his head to her direction and had both of their eyes locked with one another.
A strange light feeling made it's way to her stomach. Loui's eyes widened and she quickly averted her gaze. "What's wrong Loui?"
Her head snapped at Hermione, "N-nothing." She said before turning her head to the pitch again, avoiding the urge to turn again to the Hufflepuff tribune.
There is something about that boy with blonde hair.
✨
"You aren't supposed to hit him!" Loui yelled in frustration. Fred was given because he sent a bludger to Professor Snape, who was the referee of the game, luckily the professor ducked just in time before the bludger was about to kill him.
"He's being a prick!" Fred playfully yelled back. He was riding his broom just above the girl with his bat on his hand.
"Well that's how he acts whether you like it or not, he's not made to impress you!" The girl yelled back. The students around them were already staring why is a player taking a break during his game. "Return to your position! George is having a hard time there!" She pointed at the other twin who keeps on laughing as he and the other beaters from Hufflepuff were passing bludger at each other.
"That's totally the opposite, eyebrows. Look how he's having fun!"
"Just go back already, you nincompoop! Shoo!"
