I can't believe I'm already on the second book.😢
Helping Harry
It had been two weeks since Loui's arrival in the Burrow and couldn't help but to notice slight changes in her summer.
When she was in their manor for summer, she would usually read books, secretly shop at muggle stores with Folly the house elf, paint pictures and on rare occasions, go to France with her grandmother Wilfreda to visit her grandmother's sister or throw a party at night for her grandmother's entertainment.
It was quiet at their manor with her being the one and only witch, whereas the Weasley house is loud with Fred and George creating their own mischief stuffs resulting to explosions, a ghoul banging at the attic became Loui's first experience on seeing one and Mr. Weasley's enthusiasm.
On her first night, Loui was sandwiched between the twins, cuddled to be exact, causing her to be flustered and create a ruckus, throwing pillows along with threats at the two, saying she would let them meet their ancestors if they continue to be clingy on her causing the wizards and witches in the Burrow to awake and solve the problem by moving Loui to Ginny's room.
It was awkward at first, but when Ginny asked what is was like at Hogwarts and how is Harry Potter as a friend. Loui noticed Ginny's eyes sparkled at the mention of his name.
The rest of the days, the Weasley siblings except Percy would take her to a field and make her watch them play Quidditch, Fred and Ron versus George and Ginny. She was always asked to play by Ginny then politely refuse saying she can't ride one, but Fred and George kept on insisting leading to teasing her that she gave them a glare and made sure to prank them by cooking a potion to make their hair rainbow which lasted two days, a taste of their own medicine. Mrs. Weasley wasn't particularly happy about it but when the twins said it was Loui's fault, she only laughed and gave her more servings of bacon.
"You three! Dinner's ready!" Mrs. Weasley knocked from the other side of the door.
"We'll be down in a minute!" Loui yelled back, trying not to move both of her arms since they held small tubes full of two different mixtures. While Fred and George were watching the girl do the work, the twins had thought about instead of a dungbomb, they would make a bomb with sparks like fireworks but really- Such gentlemen, they are for letting her do the work.
"Alright then, downstairs in a minute!" Heavy steps were heard then the stairs creaked, moments later, it vanished causing the girl to sigh the breath she'd been holding.
"You idiots! Help me!" Loui looked at the two boys and kicked the one on her right which happened to be Fred, "Owww!"
They were formed in a triangle on the twin's bedroom floor. It was full of books (belonging to Loui) as references for their own projects, papers with different and spidery-written notes on it, the needed ingredients atop their paper pouches and Loui's own chemistry set which became dirty and she swore loudly when she saw the twins break two of her test tubes.
"What are we supposed to do if we break another test tube?" -George
"You're glaring at us when we broke the first one, then you kicked George's stomach, swore at us and raised your wand again at the second time we dropped a tube. I think we'll be dead or hanged outside if we broke another one." Fred sassed.
