Mum

"His eyes are so green!" Ginny giggled and rolled in her bed.

Across her was Loui wearing a red shirt and loose black pyjamas, sitting on Ginny's chair and listening to the girl's ramble. "That's the hundredth time you said that." Loui chuckled at her friend.

It was another morning at the Burrow and a week since Loui and the boys had to degnome the garden. Ginny and Loui woke up late because of yesterday's activities. Helping Mrs. Weasley with the house chores in the morning and playing Quidditch -more like reading while watching and cheering in Loui's part- in the afternoon.

"I'll be downstairs Ginny. I'm hungry." Loui said as she went for the door.

"Wait for me. I'll just look at myself in the mirror." Ginny smiled.

Loui scoffed at the girl, "Beauty is confidence, darling. How can you display that beauty of yours if you can't calm yourself whenever you see him?" She teased causing the girl to blush madly and give her her embarrassed face.

"Like I don't know you any better. You like my brother!"

Loui's eyes widened but she hid it with a laugh, "Your brothers have been generous to me, of course I like them especially Percy, for letting me borrow his books."

"Don't give me that. You know what and who I'm talking about." Ginny crossed her arms. Now Loui knew why the twins were talking behind Ginny's back. She's scary when she counters.

"Fine. I won't talk and you won't either."

"It's Fred." Ginny raised a brow.

"Harry likes confident girls." Loui walked out of the room blushing like a mad man and she knew, the other girl is the same.

Molly made Loui seat on the left side of Mr. Weasley, who is already eating porridge. They greeted each other a good morning before resuming to their chores.

Molly gave Loui a bowl of porridge and set a new batch of toast in front of her.  "Thank you Mrs. Wea- Molly."

"Oh anytime deary." She smiled and resumed her cooking.

The girl faced her porridge and took a spoonful. Loui felt jealousy bubble in her at the thought of having such a warm family.

Remembering her mother, Loui was barely seven when she died. The girl almost forgot her face but the portrait and photograph of her mother in their galley is the reason she hasn't forgotten.

And it bothered her for not being able to know his father. She haven't seen any records of him in the manor. No one she knew knows her father, at the age of 9, she stopped looking for him and focused on forgetting him. He could be dead for he didn't made an appearance at her mother's funeral.

When she thought she would be sent to a family friend because of her mother's death,  her grandmother appeared out of nowhere. She could remember Wilfreda being present at her mother's funeral, it was the first time she saw her grandmother. All of the wizards and witches knew her as the former head of the family.
