Bipolar

After Quidditch match, another event is nearing, the exams, and the only students who were brave enough not to study were the twins and some carefree seniors.

Loui was in her sense not to join them in their mischiefs and went to study with the Golden Trio. She sat beside Harry while Ron sat across them with Hermione.

She and Harry tried not to laugh as Ron stared, horrified at the stacks of books- no scratch that- tomes, with Hermione reading, mumbling some important dates and names.

While Loui was reading the Potions book with a smile, she felt Harry nudged her. She turned to him, he was moving his eyes beside, she followed his eyes and saw Hagrid, the gamekeeper.

She raised a brow, even though it was her first time to see Hagrid this close, she thought how odd that a half-giant like him would be here.

It took only a few second for Ron to speak, "Hagrid! What are you doing in the library?"

Loui wanted to ask the same ... and probably the other two as well.

"Jus' lookin'." He answered but the four knew very well that there is something behind it. "An' what're you lot up ter? .. Yer still not lookin' fer Nicolas Flamel, are yeh?"

Nicolas Flamel? Loui could see from her peripheral view that Hermione flick her eyes to her direction.

Is there something that these three are hiding from her?

She remembered Harry and Ron asked her questions about Nicolas Flamel whom she said was a dear friend of her grandmother and very extremely old before asking: "didn't you just read something about him? The one on the train? The Chocolate Frog card?"

"Oh, we found out who he is ages ago." Ron smugly said, " And we know what the dog's guarding, it's the Sorcerer St-"

"Hush!"

"Shh!" Both Hagrid and Hermione looked alarm. The half-giant looked around to see if anyone is listening while Hermione gave the two boys a be-quiet-look and was nudging her head to Loui.

The two boys realized ... they hadn't told anything to Loui. Harry and Ron mentally slapped their faces.

"Listen- come an' see me later, I'm not promisin' I'll tell yeh anythin', mind, but don' go rabittin' about it in here, the students aren' s'pposed ter know. They'll think I've told yeh-"

"See you later, then." Harry interrupted.

Hagrid nod and walked away.

It was quiet and the three were looking at Loui who looked like she is in deep thought. "What was he hiding behind his back?" Hermione asked, trying to change the topic.

"Dragons." Loui answered in monotone. "That section over there is about dragons, so if there is something he is hiding ... it must be a book about dragons."

Ron went to the section where Hagrid stood earlier, "Loui's right! How come she knew everything?"

" I read the situation Ronald ... It's not like I know everything." She gave him a forced smile before going back to the table and got her things while flicking her wand to the books that soon flew around the library to their original cases.

"Where are you going Loui?" Harry asked.

"I'll just be going outside. I need fresh air to breath." She displayed another forced smile.

Hermione walked to her side and looked apologetic as she grabbed Loui's pale right hand, "Look Loui, sorry if we're not telling you about something but-"

"It's alright Herms, I understand." Loui knew that she couldn't be that trustworthy, she's a Slytherin and the Golden Trio knew what a Slytherin is capable of doing. "I just need to rest in a quiet place." She gave them a sincere smile before walking out the library with books in her chest.

"She's pretty understanding for a Slytherin, quite suspicious." Ron frowned, earning a spank in the shoulder from Hermione.

Loui leaned her back on the tree near the Black Lake. She was reading another book of advanced charms.

There are few students lurking at the side of the Black Lake. Some are also studying like her while there are few who are dating near the lake.

It seemed that Loui wanted peace that she didn't looked for the two red heads.

"Well, well. Nostrade, where are your boyfriends?" That bossy tone. Loui didn't need to look up to know it belonged to her godbrother, Draco.

"I don't have any boyfriends, Draco. Run along." She spoke, her eyes still on the pages of her book.

"Oh Loui, everyone knows you hang out with the blood traitors especially the Weasel twins. I wouldn't be surprised if your grandmother come here and demand that they should be kicked out of this poor excuse of a school."

This time, Loui closed her book and looked up. Her grey eyes behind her large glasses looked at him as if he was nothing but air, "Draco, you're like a cloud. You know why?" She suddenly asked with a soft yet intimidating tone making the boy and his two companions raise a brow. "Because once you go away, it becomes a nice day." She said ending with a smile.

There are times when Draco could be nice and funny but could also be a prick. Everytime he enter his prick attitude, Loui becomes snappy and sassy. The two would end up not talking to each other but only for a day.

Draco's eyes widened, "What did you just say?"

Loui raised a brow but before she could speak, "She just practically told you to leave Malfoy." She turned her head on her left to see Fred sit down beside her. "Now go and make someone else's day miserable." He said as he waved his hand dismissively at the blonde.

"And who gave you permission to talk to me, blood traitor Weasel?"

"Blood traitor?" George came from behind the tree and sat on the other side of Loui. "Please Malfoy, it's better to be like that than be a daddy's girl." He stuck his tongue out.

Draco inhaled a sharp intake, "You sure you want to be with them Nostrade? They look like beggars with their ridiculous clothes ... oh wait, they really are one."

Loui noticed the twins beside her growled, Fred was about to pounce on Draco but Loui subconsciously held his wrist, not looking at the lad. Her grey eyes bore on Draco's, "Sorry Draco, I think you've mistaken me for someone who gives a damn about it."

It took a few seconds for the people involved to register Loui's words and sassiness "Burnnn!!!" The twins yelled ending with a laugh.
