Jess felt the tension between them. And she tried to break the silence with a joke. "Woooooow Max, you can't OWN Shelby!"
Ross knew what Jess was trying to do and went along with it by laughing.

But Shelby froze. She didnt know WHAT to say. Was that a joke? Did he mean it? If he did thats so awkward, he said it RIGHT IN FRONT of Ross and Jess! Aphmau and Ross continued the commentary while Shelby and Max tried to act as normal as possible

(After the recording....)

Max lye on the couch with Ross watching the animus when Max got a text from Shelby. He unlocked his IPhone and read the text.

It read...

Hey mad max..
What happened today? Just checking if you're okay. Was it a joke? I need to know. Just texte back okay? :) (^3^)

Max had a small panic attack and tried to find words on how to explain to her that he just said that in the heat of the moment. But thats not the entire reason. There's no reason to lie. Its just going to make her more suspicious about the whole situation. Max decided to tell her the truth.

Max:

Hey. Dont worry about it.
I said it in the heat of the moment....but part of that isn't true. Ill just tell you now so i can get the emotions out of the way.....i like You. Alot. I love your face...wow that soumded weird. But its true. I think you're beautifull and strong and i just LOVE your giggle. I act like i hate it and its one of the hardest things i have to go through. Your giggle is just so umreaistibaly adorable giggles and i love making you giggle and smile. I know i fluffing cheesy but its true. I like you..
