"Do you know we're alike you and l" he says waging his tail" other then being both Nightfury's that is" he says sheepishly remembering that we're the same species. then gently brings his tail up for me to see"he has a missing tail fin"l say to myself to stunt to speak. Then when I regain my voice I ask him how it happened, I listened to him while I stared at is tale. He said that he was sent by his Alfa to disable the Vikings defences and was shot down and then was saved by the human named Hiccup how at the time was the chefs son. He told me that it was Hiccup who started the peace between dragons and man. " we go around helping dragons and people with a group of riders. Recently we have faced a man how was building a dragon army to control the world but we stopped him and Hiccup became the new chef of Berk and l became the new Alfa" he says sounding proud but as I hear him say 'and I became the new Alfa' I raise my head from staring at his tale to see if he was liying but as he was talking to me he must have gotten closer because when I raised me head I felt something above me, It was Toothlesses head "I..I'm sorry" I say as I blush harder then ever before but he just leaned to the side and licks my cheek "I don't see what there is to be sorry about" he says in a per with a smug expression.
For a few minutes we gust sat there listing to our racing hearts till I heard something and removed my head from under Toothlesses and looked to the sores of the noise . It was a human, I back away from toothless and the human my heart racing faster and more frantic then before telling me to fly away, fly back home where no one can go but me and Violet.
"toothless hide" l say in a whimper but he stands there sawing his tail from side to side whating for the human to come out. He looked at me then at the place were the human would be seen "BUD ARE YOU THERE" the human says "it's that young man from before when toothless chasted me" I recolled getting my wings ready to take me to the sky in pure instinct" don't go its my friend Hiccup, he won't hurt you" Tothless says begging me to stay but I can bearly hear him over the thumbing of my heart in my ears. A foot steps out from behind the boulder in front of us and l take to the sky before the human could see me"WHAT DON'T GO PLEASE!!!"l hear him pleading me to stop but I don't, then l hear him trying to get the human to ride him after me but the human just sounded confused and didn't understand what Tothless wanted.
As I fly home I take a brake at a nearby island to collect my thoughts but something felt off as l walk around. I hear the bushes nearly rustle and get a fireball ready to attack, the rustling comes closer but from behind me ... Then to my left.. Then my right "oh no there surrounding me!" I growl but only say it in my mind. Then eight dragon I have never seen before emerge ,they were just smaller then the young man from earlier was, there skites were black with red streets leading from there eyes to the tip of there wings then to there tale.
They had pure yellow eyes that beamed as bright as the sun but as dangerous as a forest fire and l can sense they weren't here to see how I was ...they came here for blood. As they circle me looking for a blind spot to strike me, l worn them to back down but they don't budge then make a laughing sound like they were insulting my threat. The two behind me lunged on my Back and wings. Pain shots through my body and l fire at the two in front of me but they doge and come running at me, I grab the one on my back and throw it at them the other four come charging at me, l hit the two on my right with my tale but didn't have enough time to get the ones on my left. One jumped at my head and as I doge there claws scraped the side if my neck.
when they recover the seven stand if front of me. I grab the one still attached to my wing and send it flying"hmm serves you right, ok how want more" I say thinking they would run tail between there legs but then i felt really dizzy and my vision was wobbly and out of focus. I stumble trying to stay on my guard but they gust came closer and closer"this isn't good it this keeps up I'll be killed!" I think to my self trying to back away without tripping " they must use venom to neutralise there victims" I say as l manage to regain my balance, then the one in the middle comes hurtling towards me and in a flash a shadow throws the attacker to the ground "Yui it's ok I'll take from here" l hear the shadow say now standing in front of me.. It was "Violet" I say in utter disbelief " the one and only!" She says throwing the spikes on her tail in the face of one of the dragon then turning to catch a glimpse at me.
I hear what I think is the leader call the others to retreat after Violet throw attack after attack at them, they retreat in to the bushes and fly away"ok there all gone we can go home now Yui..YUI!!!" I hear her call as l collapse to the ground panting heavily and shaking" Yui are you ok.. Oh man we should rest here you could die before we get back to the den"she says extremely concerned "yeah and find out if our attackers have more friends.. No thanks!" I say forcing my shaking body to stand up "come on let's go staying here will do no good" l say opening my stinging wings ready to fly"ok but if you need a rest just say the word, and dont push your self!" She says getting ready to go but keeping an eye on me. As we fly home the venom becomes more and more unbearable till the words I've been dieing for came form Violet "we're home Yui" she says but I don't know how was more relived me or Violet. As we enter the cave l head to my favourite spot where the sun comes through a hole at the back and is the warmest in the cave, as l reach my bedding I collapse and fall asleep...
