Story of the nightfury

Chapter 1:Home

I wake to a cherp from Violet who is a Deadly Natter just over 18 years old and my closest friend.
"Yui... Are you awake?"she says in a near whisper.
"Yes Violet I'm awake" I reply with a yawn. When I look up to face her she looks like she wants to tell me something.
"What's the matter?" I ask in a low moan as I get to my feet and start to stretch.
"I've heard about a human de-"
"You know not to go anywhere near the human dens. Do I have to remind you about last time!" I cut her off in a slightly higher growl then I intended to and can see the frustration in her eyes.
"Yes I am painfully aware of the fact they hunt us and nearly killed me" she says with a quiet voice and cast down her eyes. Then looked up at me " but this time I know that it won't be the same if you would hear me out!"
I stare at her for a moment then agree.
"Ok... I heard there is a human den that gives food and shelter to us dragons for free and not one of the two legs have captured or harmed them. So I figured that we can get some free food when they're resting or not looking" she says with no hesitation."mmmm... We will have a look to see if it is true then I will decide if we will try your plan. But it's only a LOOK till I give the word.. Understood?" I say while stretching my wings. "Thank you..hehe I'm so exited!" Violet says jumping and running all over the den.
"Calm down" I say trying to get her attention "oh boy ...I have a feeling I won't hear the end of this" I think to myself with a sigh. "How far away is the humans den anyway?" As I say this Violet turns to face me "It's not too far. It's up south maybe ... Four islands away, five at maximum " she says while still in thought about it.
"It's just past dawn so I guess we can go now" while getting ready to fly. Violet nods and gets air born. "Here we go ready or not. Here we come humans!" I think to myself as I follow Violet into the sky.

As we fly we play in the cool clouds of a beautiful day. One after another we take turns showing off our flying skills. Violet weaved in and out of a rock formation then flew upside down then straight up in front of me. I could feel the wind coming off her wings as she flows to the clouds. "How was that, did I impress you?" She said lining up with me as we got past the third island "yes you were impressive Violet" I reply smiling. Then there was a scent on the wind... it was two humans and a dragon, my heart rate doubled "Violet hide, now. There are humans approaching!" I roared desperate to get her to safety. As Violet finds a cave below I hide in a thick bushy tree, as I get into a shady area I see a hideous Zippleback with two humans on their back and some sort of leather seat under the humans. I can hear their voices.
"Hey Tuffnut which island should we burn today" says the girl on the left as they come ever closer " I don't know but it has to be a big one so we can really blow it up!" Says the one named Tuffnut. The hideous Zippleback happily flew where the humans wanted and then they were out of sight. I sigh in relief and go over to Violet who is still hidden in the cave, then call her out. We continue to the human den and finally reach it, we split up to see if we can cover more ground. Violet decided to see the farm areas and I explored the out scurry of the dens. As l'm looking around I saw a lot of dragons wondering around and that's when I notice the unforgettable scent of a Nightfury...
