Sass walked out meeting Duke. "Ok, its past three where to next Detective cutie?" Duke said looking around. Sass was looking at her notes. The bareclooth looked over her shoulders reading her notes at her notes. Then she smiled big and looked up Duke tackling him in a hug. "I think I have lead!" She yelled happily. "That's great, that means Rick will give you more time on the case correct?" Duke asked. Sass nodded 'yes' and continued. "My suspects that I now have a lead on are Serge, Roger the bank clerk and...." She drifted off with a pout. Duke tilted his head and leaned in trying to get a peak at her notes. "And?.." He asked searching but she slammed the noted shut. "Its nothing don't worry.. But now I gotta put all this together and search another area, I need to keep a look out for he criminal." Sass went on about her plan and legal stuff. Duke just watched her smiling because she looked so happy. Even though he didn't understand half of what she said.

Just then Kitty came walking down the street greeting Duke. "Oh, hi Bib!" She waved and ran up to him. Duke turned around and greeted back "Ello Kitty! Whatcha doin?" He said making a simple conversation. "Well, I decided to get some shopping done. Which reminds me the other two shops besides the flower shop, just filed reports to the police so w-" she shut her mouth noticing Sass behind him listening. "-uh hi Detective." Kitty greeted then looked up at Duke and got close whispering "What are you doing out with her?! What if she found out!"
"Relax, she doesn't suspect a thing probably now because of you..." Kittys eyes grew then looked over Dukes shoulder smiling and waving trying to act casual. Sass raised an eyebrow and waved back.

Kitty backed up and fixed her green sweater. "Achm. Anyways so Sass, what are you and my pal here Bib doing out? Alone. In the afternoon?" She asked. Kitty walked around Duke and stood in front of him. Duke stood behind just watching. Sass just stared for a moment. "We were doing some investigation work. He is my new partner." She commented. Kitty sighed in relief and laughed a bit. "Oh, phew I thought you two were on a date or something!" She remarked. Sass and Duke turned red and quickly denied. "No! Business nothing more." Duke looked at her and laughed a tad saying " nah..." Kitty laughed. "Well I best be going. See you later detective! Bye Bib!" She asked. Kitty grabbed Dukes paw and pulled him close whispering quickly, "The boss needs to talk to you..." She looked at Duke and he nodded understanding. She then walked off, waved bye to Detective Sass and left.

Sass walked up to Duke. "That was odd, why does she call you Bib?"
"Eh, just a nickname, forgot why." Duke said laughing. Sass laughed with him then they started on there way down the sidewalk.

Duke and Sass talked the whole time. Laughing and joking growing closer. Till they came to a silence. Both looking around the city. It was night and the lights from the building grew bright. Duke loved seeing all the lights. Especially because the side of town his apartment is located, was well really run down and didn't have much lights just darkness.

They continued down to the upper hills of the city. The duo stood in front of Sass's apartment building.
"Thank you Thomas, for walking me home and for everything." Sass thanked. Duke smiled, "No problem, glad to help. Plus I don't mind walking you home, more time to talk. Heh I love talking with you Tori.." Sass smiled at him and looked down.

It was silent for a moment. "I better get going, the sun is setting." Duke said. Sass looked up at him and got closer with out realizing it. "Oh, yes sorry if I took up your time. I had fun though."
"No its fine I don't mind and same." The Bareclooth said friendly Sass looked up at him. Then she reached up and kissed his cheek. Duke eyes widened on shock but then smiled and turned slight pink. Sass giggled blushing red. "Goodnight Thomas, talk to you tomorrow." She said opening the door to the building. "Goodnight Tori. " Duke said happily. She went in and shutting the door behind her.

Duke waited till she was gone then hopped down the stairs happily humming and dancing. Little did he notice there was a window next to the door and Sass saw. She giggled watching him. "You adorable goof." She said before finally heading off to her apartment.
