SORRY I THOUGHT I HAD POSTED THIS CHAPTER WHEN I POSTED RETURN OF THE ANCIENTS. SEELIE SCREAMED AT ME FOR EVERYONE.

Tommy found his way down towards where Patch and the girl was standing. He has no idea how he was going to get him away from this chic without Patch questioning his every move. Patch looked over in time to see him finish the walk. Just down the hall was Lucas and Jamie. She was speaking very quickly to him, probably telling him everything that he had told him.

“Hey man,” Tommy swallowed, this was a lot to take in at the moment. “What’s up?”

“I thought I would catch you later after,” Patch narrowed his eyes. “My friend here and I visit the park.” The girl giggled as Patch rubbed her hand.

“My bad, I had no idea that you made plans.” Tommy looked down the hallway, Lucas was surrounded by a few guys. He wondered if they all were werewolves. Jamie was among them. “I guess I can cancel plans. Sorry man.”

“What plans?” Patch took in a breath.

“Jamie came up to me and ask if we wanted to catch a bite to eat with her and Amy. I guess Chase wanted to go out to eat after school. All I know is they invited us, I said sure. But seeing that you are busy I will cancel.”

Patch knew what Tommy was doing. Tommy was trying to get him away from the chic.

“Why would we be invited? I can see you getting invited because of your girl down the hall.”

“Oh come on, Chase likes–” Tommy laughed, “Chase wants to say thank you. Give the little guy a break.”

Patch mumbled something under his breath. “Give me a moment.” He walked away with the girl. Tommy knew that the plan had backfired.

He turned around and shook his head at Jamie she groaned loud enough that he had heard. Another idea quickly popped into his head. Yelling at Jamie to come here, she ran down the hall towards him. Quickly whispering to her what the new game plan was, she nodded. Before she could argue Tommy walked off. This was not good at all. If Chase found out that Patch had some girl in the school locker room, he would be crushed. She just hoped that Tommy knew what to do.

Waiting at the diner were Tommy told them to be, the pack was asking all kinds of questions about why they had to come. Lucas just told them to shut up and order something. He never knew a wolf to argue about free food before.

Patch’s car pulled up into the parking lot, Jamie held her breath. As Patch got out of the car she quickly noticed that his hair was wet and so was Tommy’s. A small smile appeared on her face Tommy got Patch to shower. This might work after all. Glancing over at Lucas, a look of relief fell over his face.

Tommy pointed over at them as Chase waved at Patch. Patch shook his head as they made their way over towards the table.

“You made it,” Chase chirped. “And you’re all wet.”

“Thanks to someone’s prank, Patch and I had paint all over us.” Tommy stated before Patch could answer.

“Paint?” Jaime questioned.

“We were walking out of the gym when a bucket of paint fell from the door.” Tommy laughed.

“Wait until I find out,” Patch looked over at Tommy. “There will be a lot of explaining to do.”

Tommy laughed again, “No worries, how about some food.”

“It’s the least you can do.” Patch took a seat across of Chase.

Jamie glanced at Lucas the man knew that Tommy had something to do with it. Worries rose that it would cause problems between best friends now. A game plan was working inside of her mind she just had to get Chase alone.
