Zaramala has vast livestock and crop-producing lands, seafood farms, beach hotels, industrial factories and many others. It is a province rich with natural and man-made resources.
It has fifteen towns namely: Ahkott, Besti, Faya City, Faz, Hagar, Iruhi, Istenal, Kavui, Layoun, Mellin City, Ruktob, Seguo, Windho, Zairen City and Zarvill. Three of which are cities and the other twelve are municipalities.
