Minao is one of the rice granaries of the country. It has vast rice fields. The province is also known for its pottery products and handicrafts and furniture made of rattan.
It has eleven towns namely: Gurri, Kelwo, Kroton City, Nietzi, Orquilla, Redda, Ritzar City, Swenedi, Undiez, Tyendas and Vishku. Two of which are cities, and the other nine are municipalities.
