Navalle is the abaca capital of the country. The province is also known for the by-product handicrafts from abaca such as fabrics, bags, hats, etc. The province is also known for woodcarving industry.
It has twelve towns namely: Aini, Belen City, Denais, Eliento, Fiju, Lasviva, Mihan, Pierzi City, Olana, Ruddien, Viorre and Zalbur. Two of which are cities and the other ten are municipalities.
