Nidiria is the coconut capital of the country. The province is the country's major exporter of copra, virgin coconut oil and refined coconut oil. It is also popular for the different handicrafts made from the different parts of a coconut tree.
It has twelve towns namely: Aussib, Bahdor, Bergaz, Bruvia, Crioul, Grekko, Inorom, Ivoire City, Luanberra, Manfaso, Quili and Romit. One of which is a city and the other eleven are municipalities.
